Out of all the areas in FF13, the waterscape caught my attention. It's so beautiful.. out of all the places in Coccoon I'd like to revisit post game. This place is top on my list. I have a save file of me in this area and I'd load it up and let the BGM play for hours on end while I do other things.
I like this game graphics... but you know what??? i still play world of warcraft... gameplay is very better..i'm waiting for a day, that we will be a game, with wow fun, and FF xii graphics...
Too bad the gameplay sucks. Dammit, ff13 had so much promise. A decent battle system, beautiful graphics, good music, but terrible gamplay and horrible maps. Bad characters, bad voices, borings toryline, arghhhhh. I'm so sad. :(

Although, I HATED FFX2 x.x Yuna, Rikku, and whoever from FFVI was not doing it for me. They could've brought back the summons or had Rikku's grenade bombs, but no. Plus it was.... cheesy.

For me the series peaked at FF3 back on the SNES, 20 playable characters and a massive game world to explore. Key word there is EXPLORE, something that all FF fans are used to and that FF 13 lacked. To sum it up, FF13 was good business practice and poor fan service.

And FF13 is definately linear, allowing you to wander around a field about two chapters before the end of the game is hardly 60% into game,try 90%. Fact of the matter is FF13 is dumbed down, linear path, auto battles etc. Lightning is the only redeemable feature.

MY 360 fell at this chapter, with my FF Disc 2 in it. I got the disc fixed and saved. The next day, it wouldn't load the game, but was at the loading screen in chapter 6. I swear, if it wasn't for this song, I would've broken the disc. I spent 30 minutes a day listening to this song.
@Darkshadow222 how did you get it fixed?? that happened to me when i moved my xbox to take out mirror's edge and it tilted and when I took the disk out it had 3 deep scratches in it.
@betrekwoman I can't really say fixed...It worked for a day, then the next started messing up. I went to a game store and they put it in some machine. It took out alot of scratches and lessened the deep scratches.
Is there any way I can return to this stage after I have beaten the game? I missed some Items because I didn't feel like spending 5 minutes on an Armored thingy.
OMG I loved this place! I really enjoyed travelling here only because I was Vanille AND I heard this beautiful music XD It's an upbeat version of the title screen music XD
If I were given more characters to fight w/ here, it would be my favorite part of the game, but duo teams are soo not the best....those freakin armored armadillos were too strong
this game was not as good as the other ff games but it had it's moments. but this place, i just hate it. sure, i should love it with it's great music and environment but it's just so damn linear. this place must be the must linear place in the game. you just walk a strate line. i'm talking about the place in the beginning of the video, of course X)
JRPGs have always been pretty linear, and that is why I love them. Personally I would not compare WRPGs to JRPGs, as they are completely different. Everyone has different opinions and tastes, and to tell the truth I thought ME2 was not great. Okay, it had Biowares awesome dialogue, but that was pretty much it for me.
@bdalberson I agree with u, but i'm not sure if man kind could handle the FF universe, since we'd have even more ways to blow each-other up, which isn't good.

the animation is shit and the graphics are no where near as good as red dead redemption, the gameplay is not revolutionary (as it claims) its an old style gameplay that should only be on the old gameboys also all the characters are fucking gay and emo. THE MOST OVERRATED BOLLOCKS IVE EVER SEEN!!!

Btw they took out a lot of things so they can put it on the 360 because it was way more than 3disc's so they degrade the graphics for both system and took out somethings for the ps3 so no one would complain about it.
@MelzersStuff I haven't played the whole series yet so i can't sufficiently judge, but there are many RPG's that don't have as much publicity that can be around the level of the FF series, plot and impactful wise.

If anyone decided to stop playing before chapter 7, I urge you to pick it up again, the story gets sooo good and really pulls you in.

Is there any way I can return to this stage after I have beaten the game? I missed some Items because I didn't feel like spending 5 minutes on an Armored thingy.

OMG I loved this place! I really enjoyed travelling here only because I was Vanille AND I heard this beautiful music XD It's an upbeat version of the title screen music XD
If I were given more characters to fight w/ here, it would be my favorite part of the game, but duo teams are soo not the best....those freakin armored armadillos were too strong

this game was not as good as the other ff games but it had it's moments. but this place, i just hate it. sure, i should love it with it's great music and environment but it's just so damn linear. this place must be the must linear place in the game. you just walk a strate line. i'm talking about the place in the beginning of the video, of course X)

Pretty generic game, I recommend you all buy Mass Effect 2 instead, it just proves that western RPG's are superior.

JRPGs have always been pretty linear, and that is why I love them. Personally I would not compare WRPGs to JRPGs, as they are completely different. Everyone has different opinions and tastes, and to tell the truth I thought ME2 was not great. Okay, it had Biowares awesome dialogue, but that was pretty much it for me.

the animation is shit and the graphics are no where near as good as red dead redemption, the gameplay is not revolutionary (as it claims) its an old style gameplay that should only be on the old gameboys also all the characters are fucking gay and emo. THE MOST OVERRATED BOLLOCKS IVE EVER SEEN!!!

@dapwilliams83 They're saying it's revolution for the Final Fantasy series. The battle system is fast pace and real unlike previous FF which was turn base.

@dapwilliams83 really?I mean yes games have they're bad side and if you don't like it thats your problem but one Red dead redemptions graphics aren't as good as Final Fantasy's and the reason you most likely don't like the game play is because you probably play more fp's then rpg's. Btw they took out a lot of things so they can put it on the 360 because it was way more than 3disc's so they degrade the graphics for both system and took out somethings for the ps3 so no one would complain about it.

What would the RPG world be like without Final Fantasy? I can't think of a series that impacted me more than this.

@MelzersStuff I haven't played the whole series yet so i can't sufficiently judge, but there are many RPG's that don't have as much publicity that can be around the level of the FF series, plot and impactful wise.
