I just wanted to point out that LED's use almost no energy.

That is probably correct, but a lot of appliances might consume quite a bit of energy by working a sort of "hibernation mode" were it lets you quickly turn on. ( like alot of t.v.'s for example)

thx! I also made a biology project... It isn't extremely good because it's educational but we worked really well with what we had.
