  • I love this song and this scene.

    Thank You.

  • Magical.....

  • Hard to believe but this song she is singing was the first and only take in.

  • I am 50 years old and a tough man, but every time i hear this song, i begin to scream silently a little bit...

NO SONG EVER touches my heart so deeply.

    I don´t know why..

  • I'm doing this song for a school contest and I'll never sound like her... tssk tssk tssk...

  • i thought she was a pro but didnt know it

  • RIP Judy Garland

  • @roswellatup no, they're for people who respect real and beautiful music, you ignorant self loathing fool. if you don't like the song don't watch the video or troll the comments, gtfo.

  • 20 ppl need to find a rainbow

  • did you know that the origanal person to play doarthy was shirley temple but shirley didnt want to do it. also since she was 16 they bandaged her breast and made her wear a corsette to make her look 14 and the blue gingham dress was to blurr her figure

  • la mejor version la mejor voz y la mejor musica la primera.

  • Wow even till this day you can tell The Wizard Of Oz is truly a classic...from black & white to color..to cast & crew...to an amazing feeling this movie gives us. Judy has such a beautiful voice it is a shame she died from overdosing & gosh she was glamorous. Watching this movie always makes me think how wonderful time must have been back then...too bad they don't make movies like this anymore p.s NO REMAKE

  • Best version of this song on youtube. Thanks movieclip....as for them aussie convicts, you must excuse them as they are a bunch of arrogant, classless, lowlives.

  • very cute-both:-)

  • I love this song. I guess judy garland was singing about the mythical land of australian. Where the blowflies buzz and the australian barbarians are the midgets. It is a shame she was booed off the stage in melbourne by rude, ill-mannered australian barbarians. I like the miniseries of judy garland, where she referred to australians as those australian barbarians. I guess when you grow up with sadistic sociopathic australian convicts, it all makes sense. At least to me it does.

  • <3 judy

  • I could listen to her beauty every second.

  • chills!!!! chills everywhere!!!!!

  • What a talent! Singing, acting dancing... and she was so pretty in a fragile way. I think that was her biggest problem. She never had that cool knock out beauty, whe had that sweet, lovely, true and fragile beauty, and she always had some kind of sadness about her. Her heart was too much in it, perhaps? No matter how hard it was for her, she left a lot of fantastic impeccable work for us to enjoy after many decades. What more can one achieve?

  • :)))))))))

  • 16 trolls.

  • This was written for her voice. Fuck.

  • The studio made her take drugs - only way to keep her working while exhausted. Sick industry wanted to make as much money as possible off her youth so worked her ragged.

  • my promotion video!

  • I will always love this movie, im auditioning for dorathy next week, but no 1 could ever beat this Judy is amazing!!

  • She was a lovely singer. I wish I could have met her. I love this song. It has a beautiful meaning for me.

  • 15 people had a house dropped on their sister.

  • @jscsassy LOLOL

  • @jscsassy 17 people now -.-

  • It's still weird that Judy Garland died of drugs.

  • @Anonymousnonexistent Well, she had to work so hard from day 1, she had to get uppers/downers (plus diet pills to lose weight) to get her through her life. Not surprising she ended up addicted, considering her hard life.

  • I used to watch this film whilst at my grandma and grandfather's before he died on video, and I loved it, does anyone else wish they were in those fields in Kansas all those years ago, and just run in the corn and come across this farm?

  • Das ist LEGEN........warte.......DÄR !!!!!

  • @DeFlaming Ja! Danke!

  • Whitney Houston is somewhere Over The Rainbow tonight, God Bless will miss you Whitney.

  • There is and will always be one Judy Garland. NO ONE can compare to her.

  • Where is Pink Floyd Sons?

    DARK SIDE AAAJJJ

    you like?

  • wow, i wonder what the filmmakers are thinking of diablo 3's movie.

  • Rather than want to go Somewhere Over The Rainbow I would think Dorothy would rather go to somewhere where everybody knows your name and their always glad you came

  • I love her so much and movies just like this. Sure Hannah Montana is ok and every one who listens to her says she's the most amazing person ever but that's because the people who watch her never even heard of Judy Garland. No offense Miley Cyrus! You're still good!

  • amazing ^^

  • I love Judy Garland

  • I love this Dog

  • @SatchmoSings It has to be the most memorable and cherished songs of all time. Each person can sing along and make it his/her own. We all want to go with her.

  • how is it possible for this to be in HD?? i don't understand?? what sorcery is this???

  • @SupersonicDale This IS the original version. It was written for the movie.

  • omg, she have a very deep voice! °-°

  • @kawaiamaineko Judy Garland was an alto; that is the NORMAL range for a woman's voice.

By comparison, Alice Faye had a deep voice; she was a tenor which is usually a high singing range for a man.

  • Considering changing my name to Judy Garland, just to bring music like this back. And so everyone can Google and Youtube my beautiful face. I LOVE YOU JUDY!

  • It's a shame that she had to die so young. :( She had a beautiful voice and her career could've been by far the best of all time. Her over dosing truly was a shame..

  • @TheFoxBreakdown The Industry used her--anorexic having to take pills to sleep & pills to wake up--she had to keep her weight down & they wouldn't let her eat normally

  • She was so beautiful and ethereal in this scene almost angel like, I think she looked most beautiful in this movie, she thought in Meet Me In St.Louis she looked the most pretty... nah she looks like angel here that beautiful big doll face and doe eyes.

  • i sang this song when i was in about between 3rd -5th grade while playing outside. little girl i was :)

what talent judy garland voice had :)

such an sweet hearing sound. there's no place like home :)

  • Why do people compare this version to other singers doing it ? Duh !!!!

  • awww Toto <333

  • Everytime this movie come on around the holiday me and my sisters would all sit with my gradnmother to watch no matter how old we got. And my grandmother would sing along with this song.

    I miss those days...

  • this remeber me of connie talbot.... *-*

  • This is one of my favorite All Time movies. I like the black and white version. You will forever be missed, Ms. Garland.

  • No one does it better the Judy Garland

  • omg i think i m gonna throw up...

  • @TheDisembowelment I really hope you puked a lot and had to clean the mess alone. Well deserved ;-)

  • @TheDisembowelment omg don't watch it then, say nice or nothing at all...

  • @TheDisembowelment omg i think you should not listen or not say anything nice at all...

  • Fun fact: Throughout this entire movie Judy Garland had to have her breasts bound because it didn't fit with the image they were trying to create. (i.e. a 12-14 year old girl. In actuality Judy Garland was 16 at the time. Hollywood is scary :/)

  • @Cassie4reverandever This doen't astonish me at all, I assumed something like that. Well - that's Hollywood...

  • yup

  • What a nice deep voice for a pretty farmer's daughter

  • The reason why many people love this film today is because of Judy, her performance takes you on a journey that you want to watch forever. Most of all you want her to be safe. After all, there is no place like home!

  • She dies in England Chelsea! Drug related or something, she obv had depression issues and never turned up for films, and was an alchaholic too etc

  • @01thrilla "Never turned up for films?" She made about 28 films in 14 years; she must have turned up occasionally. And she was addicted to prescription drugs, not alcohol.

  • This movie has made Judy Garland immortal. As long as their are people to watch this movie into the future there will be people watching it. It will mean as much to them in the future as it does today and as it did in 1939. Plus the flying monkeys scare the hell out of me even today!

  • @TrainSounds I'm sorry, but have you been to an audiologist lately?

  • Lovely voice and person, so sad she's gone.

  • 'IZ' did a great job with the song :) we all miss him in our family :)

  • Pure Perfection

  • wait i seriously don't get how anyone could listen to this and press a thumbs down. like i really, really don't. naysayers, please explain yourselves.

  • @MrsBronsonCoburn I agree. I only hope and pray I'll never have to cross paths with such people. Life is too short to spend any of it with grinches.

  • 11 people are stuck under the rainbow

  • so pretty! :)

  • It just makes you feel happy inside!

  • I cannot stop listening to this song.

  • love it(:

  • I wish she was still alive! i have a voice just like her

  • @msmatkat I am positive that you do not have a voice 'just like her'. She was one of a kind.

  • who can u not like this song its the best classic out there now if anyone doesnt like this song @#$#^&*^

  • @SoccerManic8 I agree. I think some people push the dislike button out of bitterness with their lives. They don't like that this rendition has gotten so much love over the years.

  • Awesome Movie, awesome song :)

  • fun fact: toto got paid $125 per week, more than some of the humans in this film.

    and well deserved too

  • @Jellytesttube He was a better actor than many young celebrities today!

  • @JustinBieberLover047 I find it ironic that you posted this comment with Justin Bieber in your username.

  • thats so much the best movie ever.

  • 9 aliens landed on Earth one night and disliked this, that must've been what happened 'cause no human could possibly dislike this.

  • This clip is heartbreaking for a number of reasons:

    a) Its lost world

    b) Its lost girl

    c) More heart and soul than any film is likely ever to have again.

  • practiceing for my play im Dorthy yayyy :D

  • i want u here with me :)

  • Amazing. People just do not sing like this anymore. She would have taken American Idol at her age. Fabulous,

Sad that Hollywood never protected such a treasure.

  • what happened...? *shakes head*

  • A timeless scene!

  • @JustinBieberLover047 Says the JustinBieberLover..

  • 1939... and the camera is still 100x better than my Canon 550D ... DSLR filming is so far behind lmao

  • @ValyenFluff I think because the old cameras didn't use pixels? Or maybe just the magic of Judy Garland. lol. :)

  • rock verison is better

  • One of my favourite Movies from my childohood *__* thanks!!! :D

  • Judy Garland: Someday I'll wish upon a star

Today teenager: Someday I'll become a pornstar

    LOL

  • Beautiful it makes you happy she has a beautiful voice

  • zzz zz so lovely :D

  • i sometimes wonder if any American WW2 veteran ever try to watch this movie to get their spirits up and not have to think about the war they fought in so much. the reason i bring this up is this movie was released right before World War 2 and when Hitler invaded Poland and World War 2 started, that's pretty much when the happiness at the time ended.

  • @TheMostAwesomeMan242 Judy Garland actually sang this song on TV for the WWII troops. Go look up judy garland 1943 command.

  • @joshscomputer oh okay. cool!!!! thanks for sharing!!! :D

  • a beautiful song! but she died because of a drug overdose and because of a broken heart. She couldn't find a husband She was beautiful

  • mdjjjjdnnjnhhfjhjnb dnndnvvhndb wjhfhjhgr

  • What a classic song...Gives you that feeling that all things are possible...

  • behind the scenes is bad...she heard one of the men wanting to cut this part out of the movie cause no one wanted to see a little fat girl sing he said.

  • @Em183 thats horrible.

  • Only disliking 'cause it made me cry, and I will never sing as good as her. SO an Indirect likeee

  • Fucking Pluto should have also been given an Academy Award for his performance too.

  • Its full of exposed intervals that you have to know right on the money to sing this well. Garland was really good.

  • When I was studying music I used this song for the P8 octave. Truly a beautiful song
