the "public option" is the name of the insurance compy the government is going to open. The company will be ran by the gov for the gov. not you. Their plans will sell from $2500 to $12000 a year. The same as the private companies. inwhich most people will jump on the $2500 a year plan. That plan will not cover what you have today for a $2400 a year plan.
The problem is, they(gov) get to make all the rules. They will allow themselves to be sold in all 50 states and other countries that are not part of the 50 states.
if they run low on money, they'll just print what they need.
But setting the rules. They'll not have to cover over 25 million Americans but they will be forced into paying into the system by law. the poor you though you were helping will be cut out.
The govt stifled the competition with their mandated coverage requirements. There are about 1500 insurance companies but no competition until we get that magic 1501????? Horse squeeze

Also, a study was recently done on where people where asked on things they believe in without regards to parties and most people held republican values. the "public option" is the name of the insurance compy the government is going to open. The company will be ran by the gov for the gov. not you. Their plans will sell from $2500 to $12000 a year. The same as the private companies. inwhich most people will jump on the $2500 a year plan. That plan will not cover what you have today for a $2400 a year plan.

being I have voted Dem for 33 years. i have aways though the the Dem was for the working american. always ready to make a law that helped the working man. But then come to find the working man gets screwed out of it. then as they know they are on their way out, try and do what they should have done from the start.
But this new dem you see before us today arte not for the working man. They are not for big business.
They are power hungery tyrants. They are taking over everything.
