  • He gave me the finger at the very end, right in my face.

  • I bought your whole mp3 album. Totally awesome! I put this on my phone and set it as my alarm clock music ... sure beats waking up to BEEP-BEEP-BEEP ... it's like waking up to a little bit of Heaven. =)

  • best guitar i have heard in a while on Youtube.

  • How do you feel when you play guitar? =)

  • I have a big question. i m learning how to play the guitar . Im 23 years old. I have a problem because my hands get very swety and it mades unconfortable to play. any suggestions

  • @andresny2003 You'll get used to it. Use whatever works.

  • @andresny2003 briefly rinse your hands in cold water before playing

  • i want u to know its because of u i began playing the classical guitar because u inspired me and if im the least bit crazy for saying this i dont care ima say it anyways. in my mind your talent is comparable to that of my other favourite spanish guitarist : Jesse Cook if not maybe alittle better

  • Doesn't get much better than this. Outstanding!!! Thanks for sharing John!

  • hey, is it true that you need nails to play the guitar really good? cause i play and i dont have long nails lol do you?

  • I have been working out of country. The computer is my primary contact with the outside world. Your beautiful playing is often the last thing I hear. Thank you so much for putting many pieces of your music on You tube where I can access it.

  • I love the lay-out and the music off course, that goes without saying.

  • There is a dark barking at the beginning

  • 12 dislikes can play better than him

  • Watching his fingers and what they do to those strings makes me feel dirty. ;)

  • Love it! Incredible tremolo technique xo

  • I would love to learn this piece, but i would have to work on finger picking a lot more than what I do.

  • I have also been working on this piece for years - your video inspires me to keep at it! Nice to see that a slower tremolo can also produce the great sound. Did you use a metronome in learning it?

  • this is truely beautiful ur talent amazes me

  • Love to watch you fingers on right hand ... when they're moving so fast, they looks sexy :D

  • you should do yepes's irish march

  • I love this, i play gran vals and etude in em by Tarrega but not flamingo style though.

You, John Clarke, you are a fucking hero

  • wait so i can put tumbs down but not up wtf

  • Oh My God

  • you are one reason to wake up every morning and to breathe. thanks.

  • bellieve in yourself and others will believe in you

    Saludos del Italia !

  • studia il tremolo per favore!

  • All knows its very hard to play this but still you can little well

  • You are terrific - Thanks! OK?

  • Genial...buenísimo!

    Saludos desde Compostela!

  • That is beautiful!

thank you for posting..what a haunting melody..it goes to the heart..

  • This is seventh heaven in music. I have listened to lovely music but this is beautiful. what grade must you be to play this? how many years studying?

  • Spanish music is too dry without Vibrato.

Also, you are cutting the time just a little short in a few places...not good for a slow piece like this.

  • What I like about the way you play this piece is that you don't play it too fast. Most guys play it so fast that they strangle it. Love it, love it, love it!

I hope one of these days I'll be able to figure out the tremelo technique and play it myself!

  • You inspired me to pick up my guitar again. I'm gonna learn this song =)

  • Those fingers!!!!

  • Those fingers are dancing on the strings :).

  • Creativity bonded in a piece off music. Lay Back and Enjoy because Johnny´s gonna teach us a couple lesssons this year :)

  • this song is better than any metal or solo, this has soul to it and emotion just beautiful music, absolute awesomeness

  • What a genius, sounds like there are two guitar geniuses at work at one time

  • Just wondering, cause you say you started to learn it in 2001! but were the past 9 years like constant practice or ups and downs?

  • Nice John Clarke, just nice. Well, I now have gotten 101 nukes in MW2 and discontinued my xbox live account, and am studying nursing. Plan on being finished, working, and married within 3 years. Lord willing, that is the master plan. and I really hope to dedicate time to guitar afterwards. Right now I just pick around. So anyways, just wondering, would you John Clarke say this song would be advanced? Or intermediate?

  • perfection <3

  • That is really exquisite playing. And beautifully photographed as well, Thank you for sharing.

  • That is really exquisite playing. Thank you.

  • Dear great artist - John Clark -..

you are a n inspiratiion "at least to me "

    yours ,

    me

    :P

ps. post post post more more more !

  • DAMN you make me want to learn this!

  • At last ... Recuerdos de la Alhambra played by a human being. I have listened to interpretations by Bream Williams and Segovia and the effect is I put my guitar in its case and go and do something else .. but watching John is inspiring .. it can be done .. it is possible. Thanks John

  • 4 people seem to be stroppy because they can't play guitar like this.

Beautiful technique and great speed. Learning the tremolo and, even once you've learned it, keeping it up for so long with virtually no mistakes (at this speed, everybody eventually misses a string this thin) is really hard. I don't think that I can catch up to the years of passionate training one can witness in this video, but I'm gonna try.

  • cool beans, i bought your tab pack and it owns.

  • Thank you for making our lives more beautiful!

  • why must the rating be disabled.... i want to give a thumbs up...

  • pure beauty

  • youre doing triplets

  • Que j'admire cette delicatesse! Cet Art. This level of Master.

    It effortlessly brings Life.

  • That's beautiful, man!

  • speechless...just speechless...

  • I love your description.. I've been trying to play a piece "perfectly" and now I know why there is always something wrong when I play it. Big thanks.

  • My first impulse was to share this on facebook, but then I decided "no, I'm keeping this one for myself."

  • @couring67 I So love this comment :)
