I know of no drugs that are NOT addictive. However, it si hypocritical to keep cigars legal with a high 75% addiction rate and marijuana illegal with a addiction rate less than 10%. I am for legalizing pot if cigars will be made illegal, bring a less harmful drug in and throw a harmful one out.
Pot is not an entry drug, even without it people have entry by other means, drink, fags or legal. I did acid, coke and LSD before pot, all of which I did only once of each, there are more, but I know the first time is always free so I tried them and didn't go back. The point I am attempting to make is, if anyone keeps it up, it is their personality not the drug, they are the problem. I grew up with drugs of every sort all around, 24-7 and never did any of them twice. Didn't want to pay for it?

When cannabis was legalised in the Netherlands heroine and cocaine use fell by 30%...its not a gate way drug, and we don't need her propagating moar bullshit...
If you actually listened to what she says you'll hear that in HER experience, cannabis was the gateway to her heroin and cocaine abuse and some of the addicts she's ever spoken to have said that same thing. She's not speaking about all drug users, just herself and a few others she's met.

It's all about being taught the right things at the right age. I mean fuck, starting using drugs at 12-13? When I was younger, I was taught how unhealthy tobacco was, and so I never even touched it until I was 18. (but don't smoke today, since I was old enough to control addiction)

Any substance that modifies behavior positively/negatively is a frug: Cigars, alcohal, LSD, heroine.
I know of no drugs that are NOT addictive. However, it si hypocritical to keep cigars legal with a high 75% addiction rate and marijuana illegal with a addiction rate less than 10%. I am for legalizing pot if cigars will be made illegal, bring a less harmful drug in and throw a harmful one out.

Pot is not an entry drug, even without it people have entry by other means, drink, fags or legal. I did acid, coke and LSD before pot, all of which I did only once of each, there are more, but I know the first time is always free so I tried them and didn't go back. The point I am attempting to make is, if anyone keeps it up, it is their personality not the drug, they are the problem. I grew up with drugs of every sort all around, 24-7 and never did any of them twice. Didn't want to pay for it?

Whether the individual wants to be referred to as British or otherwise is up to them, but officially they would be a Briton.

What about healthy individuals, both mentally and physically, using minimally addictive drugs such as alcohol or cannabis?
It's all about being taught the right things at the right age. I mean fuck, starting using drugs at 12-13? When I was younger, I was taught how unhealthy tobacco was, and so I never even touched it until I was 18. (but don't smoke today, since I was old enough to control addiction)

Plus, you make it sound like it makes you hooked on the first sip/smoke. The only real way for people to get addicted to these things is when they aren't mentally well. The only time I felt I _needed_ some sort of high was when I felt really bad, and at most other times I was quite uninterested in them.
Mental problems + some sort of escape(video games, drugs, etc) = most times a no-no.

as for the mental illness-most people are mentally ill in some way -depression being the most common! most people turn to drugs and drink because of unhappy childhood memories. but good news is we can work on this and free ourselves.

there was another sparkling diaologue on addiction that Craig Ferguson did, about his personal battles with alcohol, and how he says that addiction is not 'cured' in a month long program, he speaks very openly on how it is a lifelong problem that he has to face now...it is amazing how well he delivers it.
