Request: LV Damier Graphite Keepall 45 Review

Hello,

I wanted to know how do you identify a fake oe and a real one? Of this particular model? Can you please make a video on that?

Like the main key points to tell the difference.

how did you get the creases out so perfectly because i have seen other bags in photos... and the leather trims that circulate around the bag have multiple creases every where... i like LV bags to look perfect and if i purchase this i don't want have creases on the trim... thanks.

@TDHS08 I guess you just have to use it a lot until the leather becomes softer. Also, I always store my bag with towels and stuff when I don't use it so it maintains its structure.

I'm thinking of buying the keep all 45. do you think the size is enough for travels? because i travel sometimes for around 1-2 weeks.

i don't need too many stuff but do you think its enough space for the most important things?

@AppSnapz It's def way too small for 1-2 weeks if the bag's the only thing ur bringing, I would say the 45 is good for overnight or 2-3 days max. You should look into the 55 size

@Dicology I carry mine to school if that helps. Altho if you put binders or books in it, it gets super heavy and it tends to "slide around" in the bag. I really recommend you trying it on at the store to see for yourself because you are the only one who can determine if it's suitable for you or not.

I got this same one 10 days ago during a trip in London, got it at Harrods and used it during my trip. I love love love love this bag and as u said its so masculine no girlie look with this besides graphite is my favourite. At the store they showed me also the damier infini black keepall 45 and I went wooooooooow!!! sleeek!!! but its so so much expensive that I choosed my favourite graphite instead! lol!!!! :) well man thanks a lot for the review I was planning to do it myself maybe I will!

@magicxcafe2010 Sorry I don't quite understand what you're asking? All LV items have the date code on it unless it is a super vintage piece. It may be hidden somehwere that is hard to find (usually its in the interior on the leather or fabric). But always remember, having a date code does not prove that it's authentic because fake bags nowadays have it too. Hope that helps.

I've been eying this bag for a year now wondering if I should invest in it or not. I want it so bad but was just thinking about buying later because I dont need it now. My only concern is if the bag may discontinue? Do you think it ever will discontinue Benyamauchi?

@Mrpreppy15 I don't think the bag will discontinue as it is part of the men's Damier Graphite permanent collection. If you visit their website you can see it's listed in there. However, from my experience and my friends who have tried to purchase this bag, they only make a few of these so it may or may not be available at your local store. They might have to transfer one for you from a different location or you might have to wait a few months till the factory distributes more to the boutiques.

@tracedotz Sorry I can't answer you on that because I only have a 13" macbook pro. However, I always try to avoid putting it in there because it can get super heavy and since the bag is not in a firm structure, your computer could move around in there and possibly damage the bag's thin layer of canvas. If you're looking for something to put your computer in, the "Daniel GM" in the Damier Graphite pattern is a great style.

@benyamaguchi dont like the look of daniel gm, im going to put a base shaper to keep its shape, i wont be using the laptop all the time just once in a while, the bag will get used more for everyday things

@tracedotz Ya, you can. My Mac Book Pro 15'' fits in there with clothes. Its a great bag because it fits in all airplane carry-on spaces.

@TINBITZPHAM A lot of things determine the authenticity. You gotta look at the date code, font/stamping, stitching, zippers, style etc. I never have to worry about getting something fake because I buy all my items from the LV store. I don't recommend purchasing things from ebay or over the internet unless you are 100% sure its real. PurseForum has experts that will authenticate items for you for free ;)

I don't need the 55 because it is too big. I like the keepall 45, but I'm considering the damier graphite roadster since it is a little bigger . Do you know if you can pack close to the same amount in the keepall 45 as to the roadster? Thanks and awesome review!

@ehrt311 Are you sure you want the roadster? It is almost as big as the 55. The keepall 45 is much smaller compared to the roadster so my answer would be no, you can definitely pack way more in the roadster (it's a lot wider too) . I suggest you go to the boutique and compare the two because there's a big difference.

Do you often use this bag as an everyday bag or just travel. I have a fifty in monogram but I find it to be too big for an everyday bag, so I was inquiring about the 45 size.

@TNicholasMartinez I only travel 1-2 times a year so I got this bag mainly for everyday use. I'm 5'11" and I think it's a great size for me. You should go to a boutique and try it in person.
