I have to say that I love all sort of music/songs that sounds nice to my ears. Except for Hardcore music and that kind of stuff.

look around and open your eyes. it is rather superficial to think that. there are many people who like this kind of music and who very much value things that are not just loud drums or guitars. although, personally I wouldn't call Andre Rieu a breath of fresh air... and well, times change, modern music also has it's charms

U2 does pretty good music, though with drums and guitar ;)

or modern film soundtracks.

or norah jones. and there are many more. it's not just pimpled faces and loud guitars everywhere, music today still means something (of course not all of it, that's true), though it's become different!
