It's hard to pick a favorite Tom Waits song, but this one has got to be in my Top 5. I saw Tom perform "Falling Down" at the Beacon Theater NYC on the Rain Dogs tour in 1985, his first tour since getting out of the Asylum (Records). At the time this song had not been released, and Tom's peformance of it was a high point in an already brilliant show. Glad to see that "Falling Down" is still in Tom's set list.

 i posted a video of my version with text for the words and chords for any of you others that play guitar and just need to try this cool song. i dont have Waits' vocal POWER... of course.. and i had a broken hand when i made the vid... talk about bein at a disadvantage. but if anyone wants to play this song... i think i simplified it some for you figure it out.
