@funeralknight Thank you so much! And actually for my tone here what I did was run my bass through a guitar amp to get the distorted tone, but I had the bass frequencies turned all the way down and volume practically on 0 (gain on 9) so I didn't blow out the tubes. Then I ran the amp into my bass wah and bass amps and jacked up the volume and preamp so you could hear it haha. I only used the guitar amp for distortion. You can use a distortion pedal though, sorry if I'm not being clear!

Make sure the guitar amp volume is low before you run it through your bass amp if that's what you wanna do. But also if you don't wanna do that or use a pedal you can just put the preamp on your bass amp all the way up. You'll figure it out if you keep messing with it, just make sure you write it down when you find the tone haha
@ell3y Thanks! The Rick is actually my dad's, I "borrowed" it if you know what I mean haha. He got it used back in the early 90's or late 80's I believe so I think it wasn't too expensive. It was a really great deal because it's a 1986 model and still sounds great today. The only thing is the grounding is a bit messed up so there's a lot of extra pops and clicks... But who cares, it's a rickenbacker!
@metallicaman31130 YES. I love the rickenbacker, but my Ibanez is more playable
