One great thing about this car is because it's a Jag and they don't have the greatest reputation in the US it can be had used for exceptional prices. You can get the base model used for about $25K with 30-50K miles on it. I'm with nyboricua, if I can afford it I'm buying one of these some day.
Why are these designers mixing artifical metallic stuff like aluminium with natural materials like wood...its so ugly...would ve have been much better if those aluminium surfaces were covered with leather..

You are mental if you think Lexus , BMW , Audi and Mercedes are shit cars. This is a great car, the first Jaguar i would buy over Audi A6 or BMW 5, but its not better. They are the same, you cant really say which one is better. I would say, if you want top quality and sportiness go for 5 series or A6, if you want comfort and quality go for Merc E class, and if you want stylish, comfortable ,sporty and cool car, then go for Jaguar.

Hmmm yes, but not as good. It doesn't handle as well as BMW, isn't as comfortable as Mercedes and isn't as well made as the Audi. It kind of blends all the characteristics together, but its not exceptionally good at any of them.

ive heard the bulleyes switches for the glove box are problematic and sometimes dont open when pressed. i can also see things such as the vents breaking with only one of them swinging around and as for the gear selector its only a matter of time before that refuses to pop up.

this car sure can reach 150 miles without any problem at all. it is only matter of what car do you fancy. you can't say that Jaguar sucks. I don't like Jags too much, but this one sure is great. you're right, Lexus is probably quicker and more reliable, but Jag is also great car to drive and own..

*The design, first of all there's fuck all wrong with it, I think (And many others do) this is the best looking saloon we've seen for sometime.
*Gear Selector: Compare this to a BMW M5 Gearbox, 11 settings? I think that's a tad more inefficient than this one "supposeably is"
*ALL cars have recalls, if you looked ConsumerAutomotive, this car hasn't had a SINGLE recall yet.

The V6 does 17MPG (UK gallons), the V8s 15MPG and the twin-turbo V6 diesel does around 40MPG.

The only thing I'm not too sure about is the front end, the lights look a bit cheap, but that's nothing a facelift wouldn't cure.
