Okay, it was the same at each of his albums, now their legends. Today I listen this song, and beyond the musicality, their is a fucking good collaboration between a metal band and a rock legend. Stop saying that is a shit, it's a clash of two differents styles who are fucking good. Fuck, listen and enjoy

This is actually brilliant! It is very reflective of the 1974 Lou Reed album Rock & Roll Animal with a little heavier metal twist but not much. Metallica should have toned it down a little. Congrats to Lou! Now if we can just get Bowie back..........
Admittedly Lou's never been the best singer but he really doesn't suit singing over metal, strains him too much and it sounds awful, go listen to the 1969 version with The Underground.

To those of U who think this "suxs'... yer stuck on Metallica (who I love) & you've no idea the iconic impact & NYC poetry of Lou Reed. Lou is about 60 years old, now... he stands better than the 90% lot of you up w/ this the Best Garage Band in the World! And the "Lulu" creation, based off a very old German Play --- Google it! before you refuse it. This is like a strong whisky; takes an acquired taste, and it's EXPERIMENTAL!!!! But LIVE, they sound great together performing the old Lou songs.

This is actually brilliant! It is very reflective of the 1974 Lou Reed album Rock & Roll Animal with a little heavier metal twist but not much. Metallica should have toned it down a little. Congrats to Lou! Now if we can just get Bowie back..........

i don't think Metallica should be judged on this album .To me it seems like they're just having fun. Yeah it kinda sucks but i think that mostly due to Lou Reed's horrible mumbling on every song..

This is actually a pretty decent performance guys. Let's just face it: Metallica is a very talented band and I respect them immensely for doing this collaboration. Lou Reed is a musical genius and true icon. Stop being so snobbish (or crude) and realize that this is a one of a kind piece of work and that it's the most interesting thing either Metallica or Lou Reed have produced in a very long time. Stop being close minded fucks and learn to appreciate that not every musician has the same style

Im a Lou Fan and a Metallica fan. This should not be. One it is not Metallica. And its might be Lou but it sounds bad even for Lou.why does Metallica keep thinking they got to reinvent themselves? they dont!!! They accomplished everything in a 10 year span from Kill to Puppets. They started this crap with the load albums then the S&M. S&M and load was not bad but not Metallica. Death magnetic was there best album since the black one. my opinion. Stay Metallica and dont do these projects
