  • This can't be 94, I mean happy Gilmore was 96, no one ages that much in 2 years :p

  • @joeneylonable Well, i respectfully disagree. sometimes actors gain wheight and drop wheight for movies. Kind of like the movie with tom hanks cast away, he went from chubby to ripped during his time on the the island. Also sometimes they start the movie with the actor looking one way, wait a couple months and his appernce is changed to fit the last part of a movie. Not being an ass, just thought id tell you this but i could be completly wrong, lol.

  • @joeneylonable this clip was recorded from episode 24 of David Letterman aired in September of 1993 .. he was a guest star along with Lily Tomlin and Mike Lupica

uploader can change the info if he wishes

this is info straight from the archives

  • @Steven340able Yea ;D

  • why would 4 people dislike adam sandler he is a great comedian

  • 8:29 his comedy act starts

  • He's repeating his performance from 1988.. I find that one funnier than this one..

  • His joke about a snicker bar is the same from the one back in 1988.. Still, he rocks.. :)

  • Man his early stuff is too awkward to watch

  • @Nastybeanlady you got that right

  • he looks like the guy from American pie ;D

  • @GreekLietuvos you mean that jim guy

  • at 5:38 you can hear how he started his voice from waterboy

  • he told like 3 jokes in 5minutes thats crazy

  • He's so jewish.

  • Wtf is with the elvis joke? why do i find it so funny?

  • @Redeye1524

I know. That seems to be like one of his go to jokes and I don't understand it at all

  • he seems rlllllly sweet! i didnt think he was just cuz of some of the roles hes played but he seems rlly sweet and shy...... its a cute personality :)

  • Kinda of shy

  • first question he asks: NOPE!

  • sure some of the same jokes, but compare it to the 80's, they're funnier and more polished in this one.

  • Do people not realize he's intentionally stuttering, to do an impression of a dork XD

  • Spring, 1991. Not 1994.

  • he was such a cutie !!

  • Funny to hear him use these voices back thn that he would later perfect in movies like Wedding Singer and Waterboy

  • Absolute dogshit, how he made it in Hollywood amazes me.

  • @canthavteee lets see u do better

  • loool look at this hes with david letterman in 1994 go watch him with david letterman 2011 interview lol

  • Wow he's really nervous w/Dave

  • He use to stutter... cuuutttee

  • wow i love how hes acting all nervous! xD

  • Lmfao at the basket ball joke

  • hilarious

  • I think that Elvis joke was one of the worst/funniest jokes I've heard

  • @karlSNESnerd

It is! I don't think many people have the imagination to appreciate such a weird joke, but I don't think I've ever laughed this hard from a stand up routine.

  • Is it me or does the old bloke say sandler adams :L at the start!

  • LOL at ppl thinking comedians dont use the same jokes! ofc they do! u really think they come up with different jokes EVERY show???

  • @Donkym i guess some folks demand new material...when i saw dennis miller, some were heckling him for repeating material from his 'off white album'. they wanted some NEW stuff....lol.

  • i dont think hes playing ? elvis really lives in his fridge haha

  • Every Comic has to repeat jokes, because when you get a gig, they want you to use the jokes that have been proven to get laughs, the only time you do new jokes, is at an open mic, or comedy club, once you know they work, you use the new ones at a gig.

  • @Sabre809 it's like pro wrestling, you use the same signature moves that made you famous and a draw but if you are a good sound ground technician and student of the game you'll learn to adjust to different styles and stuf. PLus the people who book you, book you just like you've just explained

  • hahahahahaha!

  • kinda dissappointed a really small ammount of dissappointment i tought at that moment he had a head full of jokes but ah i mean it was a while ago but the thing is that well yeah that was the thing

  • HAHA im pretty sure he is doing an impression of dave chappelle when his friend tells him that the worst she can say in no!!!!!!!!

  • Adam Sandler great in movies no stand up

  • @MrToiletface wow....

  • who is the jerk who pressed dislike on this one?!

  • Well we know that there is one asshole on yt

  • Screech?! oh... its adam sandler...

  • look at David Fucking Letterman

  • You guys are fucking idiots.

Of course he re-uses his jokes.

Just like a singer re-uses his songs at every concert. Dumb FUCKS.

  • @4cellar2door0 Whoa now. What's ur problem?

  • @4cellar2door0 thankyou! ppl are dumb as fuck

  • I can't believe he called Catherine Ohara the "woman from home alone" she is the mother of sketch comedy, her time on SCTV was easily as good as anything Sandler every did on SNL.

  • Dave has always gotta upstage people...what a massive cunt

  • he was shit back then i just watched a movie he used the 3 exact same jokes

  • see a hint of bobby bouchier in his act

  • The most badass intro song.

  • looks like jim from american pie lol

  • i was born on this day

  • Try and find a comedian who doesnt repeat a joke. its call a different audience. shits still funny tho

  • I think that the Elvis joke is like our "that's what she said joke" its some inside joke from way back when i think, i'm not sure though.. there's probably some commercial about it from way back then, someone would have to do some reesarch, cuz the audience seems to knwo what he's talking about O.o

  • @AnimeGirl581 yeah I totally dont get the joke but they seem to love it

  • gotta start somewhere..

  • is that jason biggs?

  • you know what makes this better... the fact its from a tape..

  • 0 people are gonna have there heads in elvis' bed :)

  • wow he used to be a nervous little guy aye

  • the elvis part i dont get he trips with that the breaking up was funny

  • is he actually talk with this accent like everyday back in the days ? :O the accent is class

  • Genuinely funny stand-up, he should of stuck with it.

  • @WelshDegenerate or he should have made movies like he did and become a millionaire..

  • Dennis Hopper was purposely setting him up for the gf and driver stabbed the dog jokes. he used them before. He's still hilarious thogh

  • @TheLostPlanet979 @kingfresheswon Yeh he is nervous and it isnt part of his act its because he was 100% nervous on stage. Thats why after doing the stand up clubs for Funny People he vowed never to do stand up again, he realised why he hadnt done anything like that all these years. Its well documented across the internet.... Really into stand up, the man is like the comedy godfather, hes running everything from huge films and amazing tv programmes, cant be bad!!!

  • w00t Zeppelin

  • he wasnt funny back then either... still doesnt have any comedic timing

  • @OB1KXB sandler is hilarious your crazy

  • @TheLostplane979 i think the nervous thing is part of his act. he's like that in the rest of his stand up on youtube.

  • @kingfresheswon agreed, nervous even in recent interviews on letterman ... it's a big show... he also probably looked up to letterman growing up

  • seems so nervous

  • @TheLostplanet979 He's in-character obviously.

  • they played black dog when he was wlkin in

  • this is funny. hes actually funny in this. but now hes annoying.

  • Wow, who would of thought that this guy would be a big star?

  • he used some of these jokes in previous stand ups

  • @kaiselcord yeah i saw one in like the 1980's he was doing almost the same thing but its still funny

  • @kaiselcord All comideians use the same jokes most times just how when singers go on tour the do the same songs

  • @kaiselcord Like all comedians

  • @kaiselcord a lot of comedians do that

  • @kaiselcord uhhh... yeah... are you aware that comedians travel around and do the same material all over the nation?

  • @kaiselcord yepp

  • @kaiselcord Stand-ups allways reuse material.

  • @kaiselcord thats what comedians do

  • @kaiselcord every comedian repeats themselves

  • @H5F6CJBT And some repeat others...too

  • @kaiselcord comics do that alot, most stand up is rehearsed so they use the same comic is different gigs

  • @kaiselcord So what

  • Spring 92 the day I lost you

  • he's so young haha

  • you uploaded this on my birthday, thanks!

  • at the end of the interview, he says catherine ohara is hosting snl that week - so this vid is from spring 1991

  • good sleuthing

  • @aeidher haha sleuthing

  • @aeidher rite

  • "I do anythin' I want... im the king of rock n' roll" -- LOL

  • jugs

  • funny stuff

  • By the way, how odd is it that 18 years after this clip aired I finally did a search online to find it, only to to see you you put it on YouTube a mere day earlier. Bizarre, no?

  • Awesome -- loved this performance. As memory serves, this was actually from the spring of 1992. Great that you have it!
