Thank you for posting this! I can read and speak some German, but I'm always trying to learn more words, especially those that are "christlich." The speaker talks slow and clearly, but I appreciate that the words are listed in case I miss something. Vielen Dank und Segen! :-)
German is a beautiful sounding language. When I close my eyes (though I don't understand German) and listen with volume down, the patterns are very close to English. (Which is Germanic, so I guess that makes sense.)
I hope Germans are able to accept the Gospels and Christ. Much need for it in Germany now, I think, with many people depressed by lack of spirituality in life, and invasion of people taking advantage of German hospitality. God Bless the German People.
@xychr0 one way I compare German to English; think of how they spoke English back when they wrote the king james version English bible, think of that as sprinkling rain, think of German as like when it's pouring down rain real hard, when I used to watch German films late at night, and dose off with a blank mind, it kinda surreally sounded like they were speaking English but I didn't understand it.
