@linusb212 What oiler did u use? What it just a tool oiler or something more substantial, please give part# if it works good for u. Also the air filter you bought for it and also the oil catcher on the output.
I'm going to be doing the same thing with my Honda Civic with any luck!!
Is your compressor still working well (getting enough oil?), do u use it alot? Is it a piston or scroll type? I've heard piston type compressors are best for this application. Thanks
@danwat1234 Yeah, it's just a tool oiler. Compressor still works, i don't use it that much and i do pull the intake hose off occasionally and put some oil in there because i'm not convinced it's getting enough oil with the oiler being so far away from the compressor.
@linusb212 Oh ok thanks for the info. I found that the only compressor I could put on my car was a Sanden Scroll/Screw type compressor, not good for use as an air compressor I've heard. Rotary is much better.
Awesome! I've been wanting to do this to my yj for a while now

Does the air conditioner still work?
swotis 1 year ago
@swotis No...doing this mod eliminates any air conditioning. I go topless in summer so no A/C needed.
