The comment 'They'll be closed' refers to the pubs being closed by the time they finish the show. Its common to hit the pub after a show if they can make it there before the call for last orders.

"Yes Miss Jones" was a catchphrase made famous by Leonard Rossiter in Rising Damp playing Rigsby.
