I always interpreted the mv as a couple where the woman feels she needs to grow up and abandon her innocence ( the one seeming as blind so express her naivety (spelling?)) to be a proper partner, and hopelessly tries to get rid of her innocence and either results in saddness, or a realization that she needs to accept herself the way she is. I interpreted this as: Both girls are "looking" for something. In the blind girl's case, she is looking for her sister, whom she loves very much (smelling her clothes etc. shows this). The Sister is looking for meaning. She is looking for herself and she is looking possibly for love and is feeling neglected. So, the blind girl goes feeling around for her sister and gives the sister the impression that she is after the husband. The sister, feeling neglected and unloved, gets jealous and angry.
