Wait, if the deaf community implies that they have no help from the deaf community, then why can't the deaf stand up and do something for themselves? The title "Waiting on the world to change" to me, indicates that the deaf people would rather back off and wait for the hearing people to 'understand'. Really, its a dog-eat-dog world, and there's no room to hide from reality. Waiting on the world to change? Please, why not say, Helping the world understand us by standing up and doing.

I LOVED this video. I'm in ASL 1 and I most CERTAINLY love ASL with ALL my heart. I am hard of hearing but I grew up in the hearing world. Not the Deaf world but now, I'm putting myself in the Deaf world. I think it's a wonderful and beautiful language and lots of people should know it!!!

I absolutely love this video, I am hearing impaired and have been since childhood. I never learned sign language until college, I am so frustrated that I was never, shown the deaf culture, until now !!!

my daughter knows ow to sign this because of her ASL class at school and she just adores the little like two year old and just so everyone knows the reason that two year old was used to show that she is the future generation (as said in the song) that is gonna help turn things around for the Deaf...oh yeah and she IS deaf because this video was taken from a sight called d-pan which stands for deaf performing artists network so yeah i think its amazing!!!
