I like both Ford AND Chevy, I have owned both a 87 Foxbody with a 347 stroker, and a 94 z28 with a 383 stroker, both are amazing machines and to be honest with you, I could give a shit less if I drive a Ford, Dodge, or Chevy aslong as it has a v8 and american made, I'm happy.

I like the hollow ring. It's unique. Every redneck named merl has a loud rumbling camaro you can hear for ten blocks and OOOO its loud! and OOO it roars! But for once instead of a roar, its a hiss. A hollow growl that you'd hear out of a panther instead of a lions roar. It's a different, very cool sound and that puts it about 3 notchs above the standard dick compensator mufflers that command the market.

I love the car but the exhaust sounds terrible, sorry but its true. The Super 44s seem to hide the "lopoe". I think MagnaFlow's exhausts sound decently loud but yet keep the lope from the cam.

Car sounds good. I personally hate flowmasters, had 40's on a big block Chevelle, They pretty much killed the flowmasters for me. Too loud and droning. These 44's sound pretty good on your small block. Nice car too! F the haters!

I find stock exhaust achieves best sound. Unless I am unaware of better exhaust systems out there, but that's just from my experiences. But I do agree with you, most flowmasters I hear make the cars sound hollow.

I have 2-1/2" duals with Flowmaster 44's but they sound like crap! I wish mine sounded this good. I have 450+ HP 350 with a huge cam too. Whats the trick to the sound?

If you have 450+ HP I would suggest a 3" set up. I'm guessing with that much power, the 2.5" isn't letting your engine breath enough.
