  • @am13891 they are called studs

  • what is the name of the deck...please..?

  • Happy birthday CALEB :D

  • I still dont get it. My thumb keeps on getting in the way

  • your green screen is broken

  • my fan looks like shit. lol

  • will this work with old cards that my dad used when he was a kid

  • I cant get it round my hand

  • my name is caleb :D

  • I am wondering if there is a lotion or something I can use on my hands when I perform. My fingers have difficulty gripping cards,,dry hands ,whatever..I need more grip more tackiness.

  • thanks you very much

  • Thank you. I actually tried teaching myself the pressure fan, but it didn't quite get that sweet bending the cards look that this gets. I'ma be practicing this alot.

  • While trying to figure this out once, I got off task and learned the inverse fan and the one handed fan. Both were really easy! Then, when I tried to learn this again, I kept springing the cards across the room and making my hand hurt from the pressure. So, by accident, I managed to mix the inverse with the one handed fan to make a method that works with almost any quality of deck and is easy to do, once you get the hang of it! Anyway, guess I'll try the pressure fan again, in a month or two....

  • @alanpaoletti This is the best fanning video on youtube; bar none.

It's also evident that you are, actually, out there performing.

  • I watched this a few times and I still suck at it, I get like half a fan and the cards get stuck at my palm (

  • Nice! Thank you. *I am learning from "The Royal Road to Card Magic" by Hugard & Braue. Sometimes it is hard to figure it out from text descriptions and still illustrations. The pressure fan is one I couldn't figure out until I saw this video. I am reserving a deck of cards to destroy in order to learn it, but I am seeing how it is done now and will look at your thumb fan video.

  • did he say please send me condiments

  • wait wait WAITT im picking the cards of of the floor .

  • So how much pressure do you put on with your right hand? Enough as if you wanted to do the spring?

Do you actually "fire" the cards out?

  • my name is caleb :)

  • i'm sorry i cannot send you condiments

    3:00

  • I can't do it !!!!!!!

  • WoW... WtF ????? Amazing ;D

  • this really helped thanks ill sub!

  • i can make this another card mean u have bicycle playing cards and i have usaroyal cards

  • didn't work for me :(((

  • Whats the point of the greenscreen if your not going to use it?

  • you make it look easy

  • nice fans but why are you not closing one handed?

  • 3:02 Please send me condiments

  • i sure caleb would be grateful for some ketchup.

  • Send him some condiments.

  • i cant do it, i think my cards are sticking together i think lol

  • @ryderkn hey can you shoot me a video of you doing the move from a couple of different angles? I might be able to help if I can see what your doing. If not hit me up on skype and we can chat there. My skype sn is Alan.Paoletti

  • @alanpaoletti Thanks for the offer, as we speak ive actually gotten to be able to get it to about 180 every so often, i just have to start back further and sorta kick out the bottom more towards my finger tips, and towards the part where my thumb used to run out of space i've gotten used to the feeling and can now compress it so my thumb rolls up the cards backs when i have access to a web cam ill be sure to add you on skype, i forget my screen name but i think it has ryder in it.Thanks greatly!

  • I can only go about 135* before my thumb on my squeezing hand runs out of space, any advice?

  • @RYDERkN Yeah same here can't seem to figure it out :(

  • took me 3 mintues to watch the video 10 seconds to find some cards 30 seconds to try the move and 5 seconds to chuck the deck at the wall and /ragequit

  • HEYYY!! You forgot to tell us the part where you move your left thumb to the left corner of the deck!

  • when i do it.. its looks so little the fan..

  • @varment1000

It's called a Stud deck. They are made through Uspcc for walgreens pharmaceuticals.

  • what deck do you use in this video ?

  • everytime i do it the cards all clump together?

  • @gavin522531 Ur Cards R probs 2 old

  • @1996mozza yeah tha was it but i got new ards and it works

  • ive been working at this for about a year now... im sooo close.. my thumb of my right hand gets stuck and the end tho):

  • i can kinda do it but i just cant get that circle...shape...like when I do it, the first part's good then it becomes like a spread :S any suggestions?

  • @dng123100 I'd really need to see you do it to be able to suggest tweaks to your handling. The only other thing I can say is, keep practicing.

  • @alanpaoletti Alan could you make a more in depth tutorial on how to make the pressure fan and how to obtain it please? Thank you!

    Alex

  • Shit, this is hard

  • @kazora1001 Yeah, unfortunately I sometimes underrate how difficult some of the moves I teach really are, I've just been doing them for years and years and forget how difficult it was when I was learning. Best of luck with learning the moves, they're worth it. :)

  • i have pretty small hands. This can be a problem?

  • The 2 dislikes are the poor studs decks getting hurt & tortured XD LOL, joke :)

  • My only problem with the fans is that my skin under my thumb keep getting in the way... Any help would be awesome!

  • damn, i cant do it

  • @gabihohagen

Keep going man, you can do it!

  • @alanpaoletti man... how many time did u take to do it? i can do thousands of technichs that envolves card tricks, but i never could do the fan. :(

  • what that deck name?? can u tell me..tq..n_n

  • nice thank you!

  • Very good pressue fan.

  • very good video dude!

  • thanks, now i can finally do it :)

  • @thiskiddoesstuff

Those are called studs. You can get then from walgreens drugstores if you live in the states. I did a review on them if you'd like to know more about them!

    Thanks for the question!

    Alan

  • what cards r those

  • I can sort of do a pressure fan but at the end of the fan my thumb gets "stuck" behind my left thumb. and if i do it so that my thumb does not get stuck I end up with a sad looking quarter of a fan that doesn't even look that good. Do you have any tips for finishing the fan?

  • @test18258

Could you please send me picture or video? It's virtually impossible for me to help you if I can't see what your doing and make corrections

  • @test18258 me too

  • i need some newer cards

  • For some reason I still can't do it. Every time I try it just holds on the the last cards and the other cards don't fold out

  • Because why not pressure fan a $300 deck of Jerry's Nuggets :P

  • @LiveTheShow

I know right? Well like I said. If you have enough jerrys to use as toliet paper do whatever with them. Why not?

  • VERY GOOD DO YOU USE A NEW DECK.

  • @CARDMAN365

It certainly helps for the cards to have some spring left in them. If you're working with a limp deck (ba dum tiss!) you're not going to get very far.

  • @alanpaoletti does it depend on what type of cards you have because i have australian queen slipper cards

  • @conorrees1

You know, honestly I've never heard of those before. The cards do need to be a quality deck with good dynamic friction. Cards with absolutely no coating will not fan no matter what you do.

  • I would never pressure fan jerrys. It would ruin the deck and it's too expensive to even play with

  • You do restauraunt magic?

  • @S1A917

    Indeed I do!

  • @alanpaoletti Wow thats really cool!! Id love to get into restaurant magic at some point in my life, theres an ihop not far at all from where I live, if I decide to apply someday, do you have any tips on getting the job or maintaining it? or some of your favorite tricks to do at restaurants? that would be great :D

  • @alanpaoletti

I agree but for those that do I won't mention any names, the Buck twins know who they are. :)

  • @wrassling,@billpools Are you guys deleting your own comments?

  • @alanpaoletti yes, because i realized what they were after i commented .

  • @billpools

Cool, I just saw two deletes in a row and I was about to call Youtube and let them know my comments are being deleted! :) Feel free to shoot me a question anytime you have one :)

  • @alanpaoletti Yeah, I asked a question, then found out the answer was near the end of the vid.
