one little air pump could split into 6 bottles I bet. I'm going to try this with aquarium water! That is just the right size for a head of lettuce. Also you could leave a narrow strip see through on the base to view water level! Thank you for the idea. It looks really nice!

Depending on the type of plant and how much sunlight it receives. I would check water level every other day esp if your located in a dry area.

with something that small of a res i would imagine one must refill daily

but other then that its nice and compact
