This film recieved far too much scrutiny. It was much closer to the comics than the new film, I thoroughly enjoyed both to be honest. They contained different elements.
The best thing any film can hope to do is immerse you so completely that you forget you're watching a movie. These gimmicky "comic book" effects, however, committed the cardinal sin of yanking me out of the movie whenever they showed up.
I love superhero films and I was so excited for this movie when it came out when I was 13, but by the halfway point I was just baffled at how stupid it was. This moment was the absolute nadir - the stupidest thing I'd ever seen in a big-budget film. Probably still is.
lol the comic book editing of his death made it funnier lmao but if they switched to another shot of the other guys running or something it would've have been a little more serious XD but still the fact that he noticed was doomed when he shot the explosive dart was hilarious 0:08.
the cinematography wasn't good at all. i understand that ang lee wanted to make it stylish and put it in a comic book perspective, but the way he did it was executed poorly
@Elgarsean Nope. This is exactly how it was in the film. All I did was cut it directly from the DVD. I suggest you see it. Gets some friends and laugh about it.

Talbot was an unnecessary character, one of the problems with this film; everything took too long to unfold and there were too many layers.

OK,I probably shouldn't,but I find this scene to be hilarious. I'm kinda amazed he hadn't killed himself(using conventional means.) years ago.

Ang Lee had a little bit too much fun with this movie.

I think the reason why people did not like the 2003 Hulk movie was because of the over use of comic book effects as shown here with Talbots death.

God I love that scene! Such an epic loser death! XDXDXDXD
