  • how come at 0:17 he says chevy but they show dodge?!?!

  • the 2011 f150 gets 5 star in this side impact test haa eat that shit GM and chrysler

  • nissan trucks are very shitty in crash's. know a guy who ramped a titan into a ditch, tore the wheels right into the air!

  • how come only the Ram and the Nissan are shown? The Chevy was the worst, yet they didn't picture it being crash tested in the video...

  • not many people buy trucks based on the "safety ratings"

  • Well, I guess it does have the word "RAM" on the side for a reason.....

  • @apl175 Good point

  • Well SHIT. Back in the day it used to be if you crashed, you probably died. Nowadays,, if you crash you might die. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW GOOD THE CAR IS. Just drive normal, and everything might be okay. Can't people get over this shit? Jesus...

  • Then they should'nt be sold .....PERIOD...why are they on the Market?????

  • trucks should have 2 doors a bench seat rubber floor mat and be stick! not these yuppie fag trucks with big rims traction control and power leather heated seats! trucks were made for work at one time not so some duuche can drive his big truck in comfort to the office

  • this just retarted cause usa automakers dont make good car

  • the automakers in the US are assholes

  • Trucks certainly don't have an advantage in that situation. A truck is far heavier than a car and much longer, which makes it harder to move the vehicle laterally. The impact vehicle isn't going to stop, so the impacted vehicle must move, but it requires a lot more force to move it than a smaller vehicle, resulting in more damage. I'm sure that those doors center support pillar are as strong or stronger than that of a car, it's just more weight must be moved.

  • Actually the size (length wise) doesnt matter since the cab and frame is where all the strength is...

  • And there is more weight to move meaning it takes a lot more force to move the vehicle, meaning the sides of those trucks are going to be taking a lot more force than that of a sedan would, because the sedan weighs less, it would move easier- less inertia. And yes, the length is a factor in these crash tests- it would be just like if you were to take 2 sticks- one 1 foot long, the other 2 feet long, hold them at the ends, and push in the middle. It would be easier to break the longer stick.

  • How does that relate to these pickup trucks? Because regardless of how long they are- what packages they have and the length of the bed, the wheels are always going to be set a certain distance from either end which leaves more area in the center that doesn't have contact with the ground- the only thing preventing trucks from moving sideways- your hands at the end of the stick. Like I said before, a cab and frame are only so strong, and you can't do much to make them stronger than they are now.

  • That's suprising.

  • FORD FTW

  • yea in crash

but not in company stability or gas milage or anything else

  • @THREEFLOORSDOWN1 toyota ftw.

  • no suprise the companies need tax-payer money!

with such poor cars nobody can expect consumers to put their hard earned money on that.

  • Great to see that all of that bailout money is being put to good use by GM. With these kinds of results, it looks like they'll be back sucking from the bailout trough soon.

  • Buy Ford.

  • fucq ford. remeber the police officers that were burned to death after a minor rear collision? and all the fords that caught fire and burned peoples house and business down. etc etc

  • Zero chance with me, zoe.

I forgot more than you can remember.

I've been certified by the motor company as a technician for years and worked in my first Ford dealership in 1972. I haven't supported them on forums again until recently when they started pulling Jaguar and Volvo

    advertisements underwriting faggot association.

    Built Ford Tough

Works like a truck and rides like a car.

  • Any surprise? GM makes cheap crap.

  • So what do you drive?
