I dont understand the language, but I love Bossa and I love Brazilian singing. The way its sung says it all, this has beauty and charm - it actually make a better change to NOT understand the words because them you just appreciate the music, the rhythm and the tone of the voice. @MrNooneseesme That's exactlly we do for so long, we don't understand English, but this is not excuse enough to not aprecciate the song. We appreciate de music, the rhythm and the voice, and if you are decided enough, a way to start learning the language, memorizing the words, that's the way I started myself learning English.

Antes eu considerava a versão de Dindi ,cantada por Sarah Voughan e acompanhada por Helio Delmiro , a mais bela versão mas a Rosa conseguiu deixar esta música também ainda mais bonita.

Gosto da quarta aumentada ali no AH DINDI.

1965nacido try searching "Gal Costa & Tom Jobim - Dindi" in this Youtube and you will see the best interpretation of this song "Dindi". I love Ella, and also Rosa Passos, but Gal and Jobim singing this song is just perfect... and you will see them singing it in the Original Language (in Portuguese...)

There is nothing like hearing a Brazilian sing brazilian music. There is no substitute. I wish I understand the language. Oh well. Nice use of passing chords on the chorus. Tania Maria would be proud.

@babinm If you like it so much, why not learn so you may understand?? Probably they have theses musics already translated right? But like any other launguage, the music is always harder to understand. I´m a brazilian and I´m glad that therer are people from other countries that admirer our music.
