big time. not a great bassist, but goddamn is he a true rockstar. amazing songwriter, great performer and cool as fuck guy. dont believe he kept his diaries for 20 yrs tho. the heroin diaries book was written based on what happenend at the time, and the diary thing was just a gimmic to sell more copies. great book, but im a recovering addict and i couldnt have held it together to keep a diary at all, and i wouldnt have wanted to keep it after i got clean if i did. just my opinion. love the crue

yeah, babay, the dirt is the greatest account of rock'n'roll (mis-)fortune ever told. fantastic book. but tommyland is terrible. tommy seems to think he is just a celebrity now, thanks to pam anderson. he seems to forget he is a rock star these days. i mean he has a huge segment of the show where he just wanders around posing and filming girls in the crowd now. i prefer him behind a drumkit really, as he is the best musician in the band

YOU again? i just replied to a comment of yours on another vid didnt i? yes the heroin diaries book was a good book (much better than that tommyland shit that TL wrote), but i really doubt the authenticity of the actual diary entries is all. too many of the things were written very much how they were in the dirt, and it just felt like they were done like that so people say "oh, yeah, i read about that in the dirt". a bit corny. just a gimmick to sell more copies, i think, but a good book anyway

im just basing this on my experiences and seeing other people as well taking heroin and crack. being a heroin addict is eough to fuck your life, but crack takes over your entire mind. if you read the dirt, there are pictures in that of court orders to remove trash from the back of their house, but in the diaries there is no pics of these books or scraps of paper. i think i would like to see them before i trust it. he just likes to think he is rock and rolls version of jim carroll

?!? i dont know what youre on about, but i have read both books too. i dont believe the diaries are real, just nikkis attempt at being jim caroll. i have been an addict on both heroin and crack, and they take over your life completely, so that any time you would have time to write in a journal, you would be wanting drugs, crack especially, as the high only last for a few minutes, then you just crave more

Yeah, the Heroin Diaries are a fun read, but i think most of it at least is bullshit- it's all too conveniant that most of it has been written down- and some of the stuff he writes doesnt seem like stuff someone would usually write in a diary if you gert what i mean.
