they gave her a great life while she was on Earth... but now she has an even better life... what could get better then sitting on God's lap for all of eternity?! this family is so strong. i will never understand why young people die... nobody will ever KNOW, there will only be guesses but never true knowledge. but God does it for a reason, he takes the young away for a reason. only the good die young, when he needs an angel he only takes the best. maria sue was the best. may she rest in peace.

thank you so much for posting this interview. what happened to maria is incredibly tragic. but the chapman family has had so much faith, and have trusted God to heal them and bring them closure throughout this grief. they are all completely amazing. at least we know that Maria is safe in the arms of God. It sometimes gets harder every second and sometime better each day. Even if we think, "this mistake could have been smaller!!", sometimes we only learn from the biggest mistakes. Everything happens for a reason, even if its hard. God loves you all and may light shine on your day.

Will, when your I hear your dad say that he shouted to you, "Your father loves you." I think he meant God too!!.. You're such a special man, Will! Being so close in age to you, I know how much of a struggle life in general can be, and with this as a burden- it is hard NOT to believe in God. I know that you can't wait for the day that you will get to put Maria up on the monkey bars at that HUGE playground we will call our eternal home- Heaven.. =) <3
