  • This song rocks... I fucking love Judas Priest!!! Back in the late 70's/early 80's, they just kept crankin out great albums year after year. Nobody does that enymore. This whole era was back when metal really meant something

  • only seen this once before @ 14 and real drunk.....hell yeah!!!!!

  • LOVE BITES!

  • 8 people bite

  • I saw turbolover and I was so impressed, This is one of the few bandswhose songs sound the same in concert as on the album. It was AWESOME! 3 encores, Rob Halford had his motorcycle on stage and He was DAMN SEXY!!!!Best concert ever!!!!

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh to be a kid again- 1st vampire song- FYI glittering kiddos

  • Glen Fuckin' Tippton.

  • @MichaelD8393 YEAH!!!!

  • Like Leppards Love Bites either, but Priest's love bites, it still is pretty cool.

  • love this song man

  • hehe only Rob Halford could do this. The song does kind of get better as it goes along.

  • This was their last real heavy album, they really went to a pop sound with Turbo.

  • @mercmarc @mercmarc Their last? You have to be joking Painkiller was the heaviest album in their career!

  • @mercmarc what about painkiller?

  • @CountDruckula Yea that wasnt bad

  • i love judas preist and ive beeen a fan sience 20000

  • My favorite Priest song! These guys rock harder than most metal bands today.

  • Who cares if he's gay? He's fucking Rob Halford!!! He's Rocks!!!

  • hell I'm only 18 and in the Army and just broke up with my gf and these guys are helping me get through that shit! Love priest Robs the man!

  • NOBODY has mastered the art of headbanging like KK Downing!

  • @tncl85 Dave Mustaine headbangs better on In my darkest hour

  • Bobby H is MY boyfriend!!! Yeah, I'm aware he's gay, too!

  • I'm 45 fucking years old. Bought this when it came out in '84!! Will rock it till the day I die!!

  • Tyrant the diamond, rob's alcohol, the rust.

Beer is queer. Be real, be sober.

  • at 1:58 there's this motherfucking guy who unleashed the weirdest dance of all time. It oddly matches the already exotic thing their doing with the guitar volumes, strange melody and all.

I like this video. But everytime I hear this song, I remember the goddamned dance. The moar I try to forget it, the moar this song reminds me of shitty dance.

  • METAL GODS!!! And Glenn Tipton was HOT AS HELL!!!

  • Greatest metal band ever..

  • think of priest this way , with only a very few songs ever played on commercial radio and banned from mettalion being played(eat me alive)JP reached all corners of the world. Now they get their just due. All hail the undisputed kings of 80s metal. JP is to the 80s what Queen is to the 70s

  • electronic solo?

  • This is the kind of stuff that makes you want to relive the 80's again.

  • This is killer. In a world before bieber proclaimed himself king of crap. bieber bites. Judas Priest will always be killer.bite the bieber.See , even kids love Judas Priest.

  • is he talking about biting penis'???

  • @Ledeceptacon or is he talking about someone biting his penis??

  • @Ledeceptacon

    Neither; he's talking about vampirism.

  • @VidsByDaniel Now, I'm havin' a "Twilight" moment.

  • @Ledeceptacon It's about vampires, and if that's what gets you going... yeah, sure. :P

  • All of the CDs and clips can't convey what Judas Priest was like live. It was an avalanche of energy.

  • I love that Metallian figure back there

  • Caught them on this tour in Louisville my senior year in HS ('84). Man, did they ever ROCK. I feel sorry for young people today that go to concerts and just hear a computer generated soundtrack and a "performance" that just is nothing but lip sync. Why would anyone pay for that? At least in the 80's the artists actually performed live onstage (milli vanilli excepted).

  • @EzyGlider I feel lucky to have grown up with Judas Priest. The 80s were awesome!! The best times of my life. Kids today dont even have a clue.

  • @SledR8cr wooooorrrrdddd!!!!

  • I still remember this tour! back in 84-85. Defenders of the faith...I got the t-shirt! the only problem it doesn't fit me anymore!!

This is a good albun too!!! Go Priest!!

  • Something thats always made me wonder is..did halford SHAVE off his hair or did it fall out naturally? I know in latter CD's he looked like his hair was thinning.

  • what kind of love is Rob singing about?

  • what ever kind of love you want it to be ;-)

  • I miss this album. Screaming for Vengeance was the best album for these guys.

  • @Robertdesoto

Except that this was off of Turbo Lover

  • No its not...Its off defenders of the faith.

  • Good album but...this song isn't off that one..

  • AWESOME SONG!!! o hale judas priest!!! ^^

  • i grew up with Priest blaring out of my system back in the 80's.....it was awesome....thank God for YouTube!!!! MTV sux anymore....YouTube is the new music television...I can find almost any video I search for....short-attention-span theatre at it's best!!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!!

  • @evensteven300k I totally agree (except for the growing up part) Judas Priest kicks ***!

  • @evensteven300k theatEr*

  • @evensteven300k YOUTUBE ~!!! ROCKS~!!!

MTV, heheh ,,What a Crock Of Shit

PS... God Bless The Ole' Heavy Metal God's

  • @evensteven300k MTV is more like RTV - reality television!

  • Rob Halford single handily destroyed the homophobic tenancies of every teenage boy out there who loved priest!!!

  • @chadray

    no doubt

  • 1:56 to 2:39 is my fav!! I crank that up alot in the 80's. i believe i be heavy metal fan until I am 90 years old. never fail.

  • hell yes! i wish i could've grown up in the 80's to see heavy metal in its heyday!

  • @samboy1288 It was a freakin blast!!!! I was a teenager between 1982 and 1989 when Metal ruled the radio ...I still get goosflesh listening to Priest, Maiden and the rest

  • Judas Priest were, in my opinion, the first REAL heavy metal band. I know, everyone says it was Black Sabbath, but come on. Both came out at about the same time, but there is a B I G difference between the two.

  • i agreee

  • Sabbath and Priest share the same hometown too...they both hail from Birmingham, England

  • The title of the song keeps confusing me:

Is it Love (noun) Bites (verb) or Love Bites (noun)?

  • No, its just saying that love (being a noun) bites

  • one of the best shows live

  • judas is one of the best. but you cant really say all 90's + music stinks.. alot of good bands are still out there. alot of good death metal bands... nu metal isnt as great. but alot of the good bands are under ground and not out in the spotlight where they should be.

  • 90s was a great decade for music.. especially early 90s..

  • But this song was from 1984.

  • @GrayLeader2184 i know that. Well actually i didnt but i did know it was 80's.. any beside the point my comment war torwards some one dissing 90's music.

  • Comment removed

  • Hope this song isnt about robs personal life

  • why?

  • oh man i know. i hope evil fantasies isnt either. that would be gross

  • why are you even thinking about it?

  • although bruce is my favorite i still really like rob but everybody is forgetting russell allen who is awesome

  • The best metal band out there! I'm only 14and I think that classic rock/metal is way better than this new crap. I agree with you SexJunkle. Judas Priest is one of the best.

  • i think the same thing judas priest is the best metal band i've ever heard, and it beats any band of today

  • awesome!!!:D

  • Halford is easily the best vocalist and Judas Priest has the best sound and lyrical content. I guess it goes to the maturity of the IQ of the listener though. If you're old then maybe you'll enjoy Dio and his whole elf Renaissance metal music. If you like flashy album covers and have the mentality of a 12-15yr old, then Bruce with his Spinal Tap style of goofiness will appeal to you. Halford and Judas Priest are head and shoulders above those ass clowns.

  • @SexJunkle

    I second that.

  • That huge stage set up is awesome. The Metallion is the coolest thing.

  • stil my favorite priest song. i just wish they played it live....

  • thay was awsome my head almost exploded and love bites lol

  • my headf is banging, hand held high with lighter lit, and my jeans are ripped....good times ladies and gentlemen, good times

  • badass song!!

  • Halford + KK Downing + Glen Tipton = Judas Priest!! They all compliment each other...The Priest Rules!!

  • God.. i love Halfords vocal, also, all song's from Defenders Of The Faith are great :)

  • @Szymoneze Ahhhhhh Damn, No Doubt An Awesome Allbum~!!!! Wasted Alotta Time , Booze , & Pot, Just Zoning to This My Ole Tran's Am~!!!

  • I remember very clearly Metal chicks, even the married ones crawling out their windows late at nite to this. Easy pickins.

  • Thankfully i had a Van, More room :)

  • This one evokes fond memories of the U68 Power Hour!!!

  • great song!

  • i always hear ppl saying only old ppl like judas priest, but im 12 and they are my favorie band.

  • @mEtAlKiD5551 may the priest+god bless you

  • @mEtAlKiD5551 bless you kid!!! ;)

  • @mEtAlKiD5551 Old people are SO into that dull Air Supply-type soft rock. In fact, my ex boyfriend's 24 and he has the WORST taste in music! He listens to soft rock (a la Michael Bolton and Michael McDonald), country, jazz, and blues. He doesn't really listen to the type of music that me and my friends usually listen to. He pretty much lives the "40-year old virgin" lifestyle.

  • @HarryPotter87 WHAT DOES AGE HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING,MY MAIN LOVE IS METAL SUCH AS MEGADETH,BUT I LOVE JAZZ,OR,BLUES, COUNTRY,BUT I WILL SAY RAP AND TECHNO AND HIP HOP ARE THE WORST,I WOULD RATHER HEAR POLKA OR OPERA COMPARED TO RAP OR TECHNO!!!!!!!!

  • @HarryPotter87 - 24 years of age isn't, "old"...unless you're 12? lol

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 What I was sayin' that my ex is 24, but he lives the lifestyle of a 60-year-old. I'll be 24 next year, and no, I WON'T be old!

  • @HarryPotter87 - Age isn't a number, it's a state of mind. Becoming old is allowing ourselves to become irrelevant. Becoming old is allowing oneself to not be hungry anymore, to use the worst word in the English language; can't. I'm double your age, but I'm *far* from old!

  • @mEtAlKiD5551 You are a good kid staying away from rap especially,ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!

  • @mEtAlKiD5551 - That is because you have good taste and can appreciate real musical talent when you hear it! :)

  • @mEtAlKiD5551 Right on! \m/ I'm 41, and Judas Priest have kept me from getting old for the last 30 years!!! X)

  • @mEtAlKiD5551 Gotta Luv It~!! 42 yrs old, Still Jamming' It.. Sounds Especially Good In My Ole' TRans'Am,,parked in the garage (ofCoor's) with a 12 pack' a ccheap beer'~!!!

  • @mEtAlKiD5551 You have amazing taste for a 12 year old

  • @mEtAlKiD5551 Right on little brother.. keep rockin' _\m/

  • Rob Halford is one of the greatest singers in heavy metal if not the greatest! He's gay but who gives a shit, he's better than 99,99% of all straight singers. Only Bruce Dickinson and Ronnie James Dio can compete with him! Great song btw

  • not even them !!!

    neither Sebastian Bach...

  • Well true, but for me my favorite heavy metal singers are

    1.Rob Halford

    2.Ronnie James Dio

    3.Bruce Dickinson

so if some1 could compete, that would be them :D

  • I would rather say 1.RJD, 2.Dickinson, 3.Halford but it's clear that this 3 guys has got best voices in metal. Long Live Rob,Ronnie and Bruce!

  • Besides that Bruce doesn't write most of them, Harris does.

  • U first.

  • Defenders of the Faith was one of my favorite albums by Priest. Love Bites is an awesome song!

  • i saw whitesnake with motley crue in 87 at freedom hall civic center in johnson city tn aug 22 1987 yes it was good enough to remember in such detail ,,,,,,,, my first concert i think , crue also filmed the video to wildside while they were there

  • Defs loves bites kicks..........but Judas loves bites fukin rocks....

  • Def Leppards Love Bites sucks. No one can do it like The Priest!! Their ass kicking mother fuckers!!

  • Two very different bands, from different time periods, with two very different styles, dude. No reason to put Def Leppard down! I love both songs the same, in their own way and in their own style. Don't be a jackass.

  • Like the relentless Steam-Hammers that provided Post Industrial Revolution background music in their proud, blue collar Metropolis of Birmingham; The Priest brought Steel Mill Intensity, Integrity & unrelenting Work Ethic to the Art Form they helped formulate known as "Heavy Metal." Although they strayed into some derivative AOR Anthems in the MTV 80's; "LOVE BITES" was a welcome respite & Heavy counterpoint to most of the contrived, cliche' Hairband pablum that clogged Video/Radio Play-Lists.

  • back in the day, how did we not know he was gay?

  • We never would have thought an ass kicking band like the Priest had a gay member. We just thought that Rob was one bad mf!!

  • Because he did not fit the "sterotype" of what we perceived as a gay man. He and the band were kick ass mothers. The leatehr outfit was so METAL, who know it was gay biker outfit.

  • Cuz we didn't give a shit??? Still don't. I don't like the shit, but could care less what the fucker does in his life, aint got shit to do with him singing....

  • these guys are the reason metal took off. along with Iron maiden, scorpions, sabbath, all hold council in the hall of the METAL GODS!!!!!!

  • check done.. I passed... get a grip over there hun

  • check yourself ....

  • They are not even the same song. They just have the same name.

  • I got this record for Christmas :3 LONG LIVE PRIEST!!!

  • Going to see them on August 5th in Costa Mesa, CA with Whitesnake!!

  • What a show that must have been! Saw Priest w/ Dokken in 86 and Whitesnake w/ Motley Crue in 87!

  • rob halford is the cooles gay i ever seen

  • I never get tired of this music!

  • Damn I wish I had that jacket!

  • damn me too xD

  • saw priest perform this at live aid stoned off my ass and loved it then and still love it PRIEST FOREVER

  • Dude, he was gay LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG before this song. Trust me, have you ever heard the song Evil Fantasies?

  • i dont get this song if this was wrote by rob did was he straight when he wrote this or was he still gay

  • Rob wrote this song because he is the Metal God and rules over all with an iron fist, and thats all we ever need to know and its what really matters. Who or what he shags when he is off duty is his own affair.

  • Comment removed

  • It dont get not better than this

  • god im old i was smoken dope when this song first came on as a kid

  • Judas Priest in is best. I like those words.

So sexual and soo viril. Its such a real man song looking for babe to be is only babe. (i know its about vampire, but look deeper in is words :))

  • i didnt like this song at first, but its grown on me, JP 4EVER

  • This is a really weird song, but its one of their best. 5 starred. IN THE DEAD OF NIGHT LOVE BITES.

  • How is it weird?

  • cuz of the effects and the synth

  • I meant Rob not Rod...lol

  • This was my very first concert WAYYYYY back in the day. I still remember it like it was yesterday. Rod came down from the claw....and this was the first song. The place went nuts!!!!!

  • Yes, this was my first concert ever also. And Priest was already my undisputed favorite. The place went nuts when they opened up with this song. Rock hard, ride freee!

  • Halford looks like the guy from Chronicles of Riddick that walks out into the burning sun. This is a great song!!!

  • This must be a single version--there are subtle cuts all through.

  • WOW, gotta luv him

  • Rob Halford a bad motherfucker, and Judas Priest are THE Metal Gods.

  • Indeed!

  • This song owns

  • love BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAITs!

  • the music rules ,, why now the gay stuff , you all liked it before he came out, what is the frikken difference now? I liked in the 80's , i love it now , & so does my daughter, ,,,

  • Yeah I agree fuck bands like slipknot and linkin park and nickleback they are so posers

  • i dont give a flying f that rob halford's gay! HE IS STILL A HEAVY METAL LEGEND

  • for all the idiots that keep saying "who gives a shit if rob is gay?" piss off with that already...

yes hes gay... stop trying to avoid it....embrace it

hes not "good despite being gay"..hes "good AND gay".

  • People are assholes, goto any Van Halen video the same stupid shit Roth sucks, Sammy sucks, back in forth bullshit that means nothing.

  • Hay I didn't mean that comment in a bad way Judas Priest Is Awesome and I wouldn't say anything to insult Rob.

    Hail Rob Halford

  • Hate all you want - Halford will kick your ass and make your little sister scream in torment.

  • crank this song up and tell me it doesn't jam.

  • it doesen jam

  • what r you talking about? Or are you just stupid?
