This is the only season of ANTM I watched from beginning to end. And I remember rooting for Brooke up until she got eliminated. Then after that i was rooting for Caridee. So glad she won, she really deserved it. Melrose was amazing, but she just acted like a bitch to everyone.

Melrose could be confident, and yes, she could have a good portfolio, but look at her reaction in the finale. Panicking and fricking out because Caridee stepped on her dress. A real model is not so full of drama, keeps on walking and working and leaves the tears for later. Caridee's face is softer and more beautiful. Don't forget that Caridee also did much better in the commercial, and ANTM is all about a whole set: pictures, runways, commercials, stress. Caridee was stronger than Melrose.
Sorry to all the Caridee fans but I would never understand why she won. If I look at this competition as a reality tv series first and a modeling competition second then I could see why Cari won...but when it comes to modeling, Melrose killed Cari by a long shot. Melrose was a GOOD model -- she knew all the tricks of modeling, and knew the business inside and out. But when it came down to it, she lacked the naturalness and passion that Caridee had. So honestly, I'm glad Cari won.

modeling is hard because you have to have almost to all requirements like nice, friendly, good pictures, good walk, good attitude and all those stuff.
it doesnt matter who we think should win. Tyra and the other judges are professionals and the know who makes the better model. they're not asking for our opinion so who ever wins, we have to take it like that.

I agree. I mean what designer or photographer cares about how inspiring you are because you had psoriasis or how funny you are? They are business people, they care about how professional you are and how good you are as a model. I'd rather work with Melrose than Cari (although I love Cari too ^^), because she's much more profesionnal, CariDee's all over the place lol.
Seriously, with eleven (11) cycles completed so far, here are my choices:
CARIDEE ENGLISH still is the best winner so far and still has the best portfolio so far. MELROSE BICKERSTAFF still is the best runner up so far and still has the best final runway performance so far. CYCLE 9 is still the only cycle where "Tyra missed it". Must have been a 1. JENAH, 2. SALEISHA and 3. CHANTAL finish. JENAH still has the second best portfolio so far.
Personnally I think that Joanie's the best runner up ^^ she completely should've won and I expected her to win, Tyra was so freaking out about Danielle's accent that I was like "It's gonna be Joanie!" but then she lost and I was like damn, the gir lwas robbed XD
Caridee i love her were friends on myspace but still she did deserve to win.Melrose to me is like an attiude person she is so mean and ignorant so she doesn't need this.Plus his is old anyway it's 2006.
and by the way Caridee deserved it way more than Melrose did. The pictures that the took were from the same level and also the runway did, but in personallity Caridee wasn't fake, like Melrose, and Caridee deserved it more because she survived the skindisease etc.

I agree. I mean what designer or photographer cares about how inspiring you are because you had psoriasis or how funny you are? They are business people, they care about how professional you are and how good you are as a model. I'd rather work with Melrose than Cari (although I love Cari too ^^), because she's much more profesionnal, CariDee's all over the place lol.

Seriously, with eleven (11) cycles completed so far, here are my choices:
CARIDEE ENGLISH still is the best winner so far and still has the best portfolio so far. MELROSE BICKERSTAFF still is the best runner up so far and still has the best final runway performance so far. CYCLE 9 is still the only cycle where "Tyra missed it". Must have been a 1. JENAH, 2. SALEISHA and 3. CHANTAL finish. JENAH still has the second best portfolio so far.

Personnally I think that Joanie's the best runner up ^^ she completely should've won and I expected her to win, Tyra was so freaking out about Danielle's accent that I was like "It's gonna be Joanie!" but then she lost and I was like damn, the gir lwas robbed XD

Caridee i love her were friends on myspace but still she did deserve to win.Melrose to me is like an attiude person she is so mean and ignorant so she doesn't need this.Plus his is old anyway it's 2006.

and by the way Caridee deserved it way more than Melrose did. The pictures that the took were from the same level and also the runway did, but in personallity Caridee wasn't fake, like Melrose, and Caridee deserved it more because she survived the skindisease etc.

No i think she deserved it more because Melrose was such a bitch in this competition and she made the girls feeling bad about themselves ( like Anchal ) and at panel she acted like she was a nice girl,
so Melrose was fake and Caridee was herself all the way through

Melrose was there for herself, she did great in all the photoshoots and was completely robbed, it was again Tyra giving it to the girl who she thinks has the "better" personality rather than the girl with the modeling chops and understanding of the fashion world and that's why ANTM is a piece of shit, CariDee only did good in the Covergirl and Circus Freaks shoots, all of her other pictures sucked.
