  • that girl in the background that you use for subliminal purposes to help your sales, is a bit obvious and causes suspicion to an otherwise great lesson program...

  • @9funn Does it work on you? I didn't think so. I get more negative responses to the "female" element on my website than I do positive. They are there because I like them :--)

  • @wizardofshred cool! just saying or pointing out, rather how it can be misconstrued by some, Rock on ! :)

  • lay off the coke and get to the point dude, Im not buying your shit

  • I'M PERKISISING TONYYYYY

  • did you really just talk that whole time and not play once. .no wonder this has so many dis-likes -.-

  • @wizardofshred hi i bought this program when should i start learning the runs how long should i practice those 6 excersies

  • LoL!! Applying a 'life coach' system 2 guitar playing =)) Tony Robbins?? HAHA

"B 4 plucking the string, we must cleanse ourselves of the negative energy that is robbing the vibration of it's motivation. Only then can we master the now." ROFL =))

Here's a better way: Browse the groovy Turkish & other music on my channel & steal lots of cool hooks from it & play them on guitar =) THAT will make U sound fuking AWESOME, instad of just another 'scale machine'. & send me links when U do! =)

  • How do you quantify all of this... it's ridiculous. Haha alternate picking is not that hard.

  • @guitarchickena7x This program is a really comprehensive approach. As simple as it may seem, there are extra challenges that come from alternate picking when switching amongst the different strings. Most guitarists aren't really aware of these challenges. Awareness and effective practice is key to mastery.

  • @dann3th3manni3 That may be true, but the way you quantify how long it takes one to learn alternate picking without your program is hilarious.

  • ads succcccck!!

  • wow, that ghost chick in the background is HOT

  • why do you have your guitar there if you're just gonna talk? get to the point

  • arghh get to the point

  • Ok anyone tried those lessons ? I'd like a feedback because 95$ is pretty expensive, I'd like to know if it's worth it.... Thanks.

  • @F3FisGoodforYou It's definitely worth it. I think you get like 10 different videos in this package, as well as a number of other resources. I've definitely improved in the short time I've been on the program.

  • Just tell us how the fuck to do it.

  • Mathias Jabs brother?

  • your voice is super perfect for audiobooks.

  • That's 30 minutes I'll never get back.

  • O yeah and for anybody else learning to shred, i just wanna say that it helped me to think of the left hand as playing legato... i would always hammer me fingers down using the finger muscles but when i started concentrating on the muscles in my hand (natrually happened when i played legato) it really helped if that makes sense. Just saying. But yeah thanks klaus im gonna definitely buy the sweep picking program after ive gotten a steadier hold on this technique

  • @mericksenjones Thanks for the insight!

  • Im so glad i got over my doubts about this guy. I looked back at some of the teachers on youtube that i used to try to learn from n im thinking "really? This was hard?" Haha this program works

  • Why are you so smart and musically inclined?!

  • get his programme this guy knows what hes talking about!

  • anyone else notice the girl in the background staring at you?

  • fgdfgdfg

  • klasse video!!:D

  • The ultimate alternate picking training system = playing metal.

  • You look like Brad Pitt

  • @MetalJun Can I have that I writing? :o)

  • @wizardofshred it is in writing you muppet :D

  • @MetalJun

  • where are you from?

  • @Kristianeb Denmark :)

  • @wizardofshred Hvorhenne i Danmark?

  • @wizardofshred You are from Denmark ? Damn that is rare you see danes with REAL english accent !!

  • your lessons are great some of the best

  • Im gunna take two minutes: five minute video

  • great insights!

  • What's with the grumpy chick? xP

I think i might look into this

  • @anonymous564 It's my humongous girlfriend who's waiting for me to finish so she can drag me home and watch me do the dishes...

  • I love you bro, you have done more in your short time here to help people reach the next level than ANY other guitarist I know of. Eternal respect to you!!! now, when can we hear your newest album????

  • @creepsomber Wow. Thanks man. The album will have to wait a little. Right now I'm working full time on the website. But let's see what the year 2011 brings :) Thanks again.

  • @wizardofshred That's too bad, maybe you can post a vid of some of your original music? great vids, thanks for all you do.

  • Hi Klaus.

You actually have a very good philosophy for breaking down other challenges. hmmmm.

  • @brotherdarek Thanks! And thanks for commenting :)

  • I learned alternative picking by playing black metal xD

  • i dont understand why yo uhave a guitar plugged in and you dont play it..

  • Can anyone tell me what is alternate picking?

  • @CrossHolder92 It's very simply the act of picking the strings alternating between down and up strokes. Thanks for asking :)

  • @wizardofshred Not so simple, or kinda sorta. The ideal of "Economy Of Motion" requires there be a minimal amount of motion to allow for the greatest degree of speed. BUT--in order to properly alt/speed pick across the strings, one must bend those rules so that the pick is tracing an "ellipse" or curve over the strings rather than allowing the pick to trace a 90 degree angle over the strings. Therein your "inside/outside" picking will be strengthened to the degree that you can perform it.

  • Dude you sometimes sound like an Evangelical guitar teacher : )

Here is a biblical example from a man who fought a giant, and won...

  • @waspix Amen! I guess I have another career to pursue when I grow old :)

  • why is it a women in the background??

  • Is it free?

  • Why does it always take these "teachers" twenty minutes of bullshit before they play anything. Hey it's a guitar lesson. Play the fucking guitar!

  • @Sunderlanding disagreed.

  • @bobbysbackingtracks Good point asshole. Do you know how a sentence works?

  • @Sunderlanding Yes. I think I know how to make a sentence.Would it make you happy if I agreed with you?

  • @bobbysbackingtracks No, but just saying disagreed is kind of a waste. Why don't you make a point and you might shed some light on why you disagree.

  • @Sunderlanding To elaborate: Mental concepts, awareness and understanding are the pre-cursors to achieving goals. In this case alternate picking. If you had the chance to be in the presence of a great teacher and get a face to face lesson, he or she would not tell you to "Play the fucking guitar". Its obviously alot more than that. That is what separates the men and the boys. That is why I disagreed with your comment.Capishe?

  • @bobbysbackingtracks Nice rant, but the shit he's talking about need not be talking about. He could just say pick down up and then get on with the lesson. There is too much wasted space.

  • @Sunderlanding Oh well , you are obviously attached to your own story.Happy picking!

  • @bobbysbackingtracks Just like you're attached to yours.

  • @Sunderlanding You sound like one of the many internet trollers with a weak brain and narrow mind.

  • @bobbysbackingtracks And you sound like one of those new age pussys who thinks everything is equal and there is no such thing as a bad question. Nice Willie Dixon reference though. Makes up for your lack of balls.

  • Hey just wondering would this be any good for someone that has already devolped a high level with alternate picking but wants to take it to the next level? or is this more for beginner level

  • @carvinplayer6 This program (if you use it) will take your picking to a level where you'll have more control and be more relaxed than ever. The program does not begin on any particular skill level. If you think you have room for improvement and you desire to make alternate picking an easy task, this program is for you :o) Thank you for asking.

  • persistence won wars..

  • Aladdin Gee--Respect

  • I recently bought this video and it really is amazing. The concepts are simple to grasp and the instructor really is truly concerned about the individual's progress. If you're a beginner, intermediate or even advanced player this program can definitely help. Like anything in life worth obtaining it takes work and dedication but the rewards are there.

  • Wonderful video !!!

  • very positive video, i could listen to you all day, brilliant.. i only know the basics..ann=))

  • @glamorgangirl Thank you very much :o)

  • what a scammmmm

  • Thank you a lot for sharing your nice video!

  • Cool video...*****

  • Does this program have much information that you didn't already tell in your free articles in "The ultimate guide to alternate picking"? Is this program more efficient than the metronome game?

BTW, your lessons are awesome! I'd love to check this program, but it feels that $75 is too expensive.

  • @Collapsion Thank you very much! There's no comparison and there's no overlap of information. It's a totally different concept. But it's great if you practiced using the metronome game! The metronome game builds rhythmical precision, timing and speed. This program is all about how you take that basic technique and put a rocket in it's rear end. It is expensive if you buy it and don't use it. But if you do what I say you should do for 4 weeks, I promise you massive results. No exaggeration.

  • @Collapsion And thanks for asking by the way :)

  • hmm i see what you mean, but as surprising as it is it took me under a year to start tremolo, alternate even economy picking .. sameish but maybe thats because i was really young i think i was 8 and im now 20 but there was a big drop back to how many scales, chords and arpeggios i could play in a patten or harmonised manor

my first scale was A harmonic minor then e .... till i started learning long A minor ........so n so...

if i had of used your technique at that age id probably b better:)

  • i like the way u explain the guitar, maby im not so crazy after all

  • sorry but I just cant listen to danish ppl talking english.

and how can you say an exact time limit of learning, everyone learns at a different speed. some may learn in just days while it takes months for others.

  • Hmm compelling pitch. Sounds like you have an interesting way of looking at the LOOK OUT THERE'S A GHOST LADY BEHIND YOU

  • Yes I think so AAHHHHHH YOU'RE RIGHT!!

  • excellent video. well thought out and you're playing is stellar.

    jane

  • You're VERY clear .. one step after the other , you're SO right ! I hope I will make progress thanks to your lessons .. Merci ! ...Hélène

  • btw there's plenty of free stuff at his site, definitely worth a visit!!

  • Whatever you do, don't go to his website to check it out. (It is FREE) Don't click on any of the other videos he has on youtube, that way you can remain skeptical.

  • So true! And that's part of the incredible challenge. I've had to "test" different picking techniques for months before finding what worked, and I'm still doing it. It's an individual journey, and it is a bitch!

  • I'd be curious to know how your method differs from Speed Mechanics for Lead Guitar (Troy Stetina).

  • Uh.. I wish I could tell you that but I don't know his program. The program I'm speaking about in the video is unique (as far as I know) in that it's a "training program" and not just a lot of information (And that can work too of course) It offers you a specific path that you can walk that I guarantee will take you to where you want to go. It's the fastest way I know to build alternate picking mastery. But I can't say it's the only right one for you, Test it and see for your self :o)

  • Really? It's the most highly acclaimed book ever for developing one's picking technique. It's about $11 USD on Amazon. Speed pickers bible. Not trying to downplay your system, but he covers everything in that book. It'd be worth picking up to at least compare how your system differs. I'm not really into shredding anymore though. I'm sure your system is great but it really just comes down to persistence, patience, and focused practice with a metronome.

  • I have the book, and he covers necessities such as inside/outside picking, but no one that I have ever come across has mentioned the fact that the tip of your pick must move in a slight ellipse or curve in order to facilitate string transitions. If the tip of the pick moves over the string in a straight line or a 90 degree plane, your pick will inadvertently hit the string your on while on it's way to the one you're moving to. Subtleties like that are lost on many people.

  • I figured that one out without a book having to tell me. It's pretty obvious.

  • Took me years to figure it out, I wasn't sure what the hell I was doing wrong, and with no one to tell me otherwise, I stagnated. When I found out, I had to completely re-tool my picking, which was a bitch. Bad habit had been ingrained.

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks! that's some compliment. :o) I will check them out

  • This guy should be a public speaker

  • Very good, but I mastered alternate picking with the good old blockheaded repetition and persistence within my 1st year of playing. But your method seems more effective and economical.

  • This guy knows what he is doing. His website and lessons are very well structured.

  • Thanks man...

  • I love your positive and helpful philosophy towards guitar playing!

  • Great. Thanks : )

  • I hate guarantees but I'm still going to check it out my friend.

  • the guarantee is for real. No results - no pay. but I know what you mean!

  • vou are cool !!!!!

  • Thank you very much sir!
