not a big fan of tcs but my boy has a red one as well and not to burst your bubble but his sounds sick as fuck with a turbo charger.... but to the point... no matter what they do to those cars they still slow. I have a fully swap 98 civic b18c5 turbo at 16 psi and vettes eat dust. I do acknoledge they look good after you put work in them thou.

@stealthcorvette Corvette, unlike turbos, superchargers are not exhaust gas driven; they are belt driven. There is no need for an intercooler. Turbos. Spool off of hot exhaust gas from the exhaust manifold.

@rx4u2c Uh no. That's far from true. Anytime u compress air u can create heat which results in thinner air. Most factory supercharged cars come with intercoolers. Which is why I'm disappointed with Toyota for not doing it with the tc.

@Obomaeatschildren don't supercharge it. and ESPECIALLY don't get the trd supercharger. turbonetics makes a turbocharger specifically for stock or mostly stock tc's. and it gives you 100+whp. the trd gives you about 40hp for ALOT more money. i think the turbonetics is running about $4k right now.

@YoungNasteyman If you want to go into the 300+ range, I would go with something other than Tnetics. 320whp should be no problem on the stock block. As long as you have a good tune you will be good. You would have to upgrade stuff on a Tnetics kit to get you there. Not to mention the Tnetics kit comes with a Unichip management. Finding someone to tune that is few and far between.

@808Ha0le Look smart ass i have a TC i had before my supercharger 164wtq and 161whp with a cold air intake and a flywheel... the 161 hp stock is engine wise the 162trq is the flywheel hp dyno a stock tc and if your lucky you'll make 155whp for example a 350z hr say's it does 306hp and 270trq dyno that car and you'll make maybe 230whp.. what you put down to the ground is what really matters but im glad you can read the brochure

Hmmm I counted the time it took you to get from 0-60 and my 05 scion release edition gets there about the same time. It's nearly stock but with a K&N exhaust and some rims. I've noticed that the scions run faster in colder temps so I don't know why with all that stuff you did not get better results. Bad day I guess. Cars are like that.

well right now my si is at 210 whp with just an intake and exhaust which is roughly 230 crank. If supercharged like your tc it makes 300+ whp. Not to mention cobb tuning is out for us and Hondata k-pro before the end of the month =)

improved suspensions may do wonders for handling, but when it comes to straight line speed, power is the main factor(given you have decent gripping tires)
