In North America, there is the same ad, except it says "Go on... Get dirty" and the wash powders/liquids are usually Wisk... which is what "Omo" is called there....
I have two friends who dont really like the kids playing in the dirt she even shouts at her daughter, I felt sorry for her, messy play is really important. my boys are always out in the garden poking sticks in the dirt and building hills for the hot wheels cars! its a very important message really. too many parents now are more concerned with keeping up appearences
this reminds me of my little boy, he's 2 and a bit. me and his mum have split up, and i get him every other weekend. He doesnt get taught how to be a kiddy anymore on a regular basis...only every other weekend. The begining of the advert is like 6'ish on the friday evening. The end is like 6'ish sunday evening.
What a lovely advert sad yet heartwarming. And the music oh god it's beautiful it totally fits in with what's going on.Thought the robot turning into a little boy was an inspiration,Kudos to whoever thought it up!
Quite a sad to start with I reckon, the robot on its own, then turns into a boy playing in the water and mud. For once an advert i actually like. Reminds me of what i was like when i was a youngen :P.

My little boy was traumatised by this advert - he is sensitive and thought the robot was so sad. Couldn't see connection to soap powder myself. weird!

This is great.
I like the message too: let kids play outside for crying out loud, instead of keeping them under a glass jar like most parents are doing.
