After watching a few of these, I realise that a lot of Americans pronounce "Breakfasts" as "Breakfastes" with the extra syllable. Not hating just seems different is all haha.
@katelync0 Wow, that is very cool. We have haupia (coconut custard/pudding) and taro (the root poi is made out of), apple and we had blueberry for a very short time once. But that's it.

@CookingAndCrafting I've had a McBeer in Japan, Korea, Sweden, Germany, & Holland; and in Spain, Portugal, France, & Greece I opted for McWine instead. America has a crazy obsession with demonizing alcohol, whereas most Europeans consider beer and wine to be food and a crucial part of the meal (Aperitifs & Digestifs.)
@LegionnaireEtrangere i love your outlook on it, most americans demonized alcohol for decades as a segue for vice and catholocism (where i live used to demonize catholics, and still tries... america seems to be so fiercely protestant that anything that has to do with catholics is banned or controlled, like alcohol)
@soschadao America since it's founding has had an obsession with absolute stoicism. Here in Australia we created the Mc Cafe's no big deal but they have been successful. Our main difference is The Roo Burger, which naturally the Pattie is Kangaroo meat. So not only are Kangaroos the mode of transport for my kids to school they can also eat them as a snack from Maccas
here we have the basic menu, burgers, chicken and fish sandwiches, wraps, black angus burgers and wraps, and seasonal pies like pumpkin pie, apple pie, cherry pie and custard pie. We have a thing called a fruit and walnut salad, not sure if everyone has those fruit and yogurt parfaits, we have the oatmeal here, i tried it it was too sweet! we have biscuits here for the breakfasts, mcmuffin and pancakes, hashbrown potatoes and sometimes some kind of breakfast burritos and french toast sticks...
@CookingAndCrafting if you want to try a poutine, go to Quebec, Canada ... and don't buy the poutine in a mcdonald's .... go to ashton instead :) ... cheers

@supersonicprices The pink and white fishcake in the ramen is called "naruto" in Japaneese. That is what the anime character was named after. My comment had nothing to do with the anime. I just really like to eat naruto. lol
@auntbecky They sell some kind of tea here that is made here, which is actually kind of sweet. But when you ask for sweet tea here (Hawaii), most places have no clue what you are talking about
@auntbecky So sweet tea is a southern thing? I always wondered if it was? I love sweet tea with lemon. I'm sure sweet tea is probably popular in the northern states though, probably just not in Hawaii. An that soup looked really nasty.

There was another difference but I cannot remember. Back then, it was hamburgers and fish fillets only, so it was weird seeing a fruit cup.
@ToyKingWonder hmm I don't know that I even remember that. But we were pooooor growing up and didn't even know what McDonald's was until probably 1978 or 1979 when I got a 'side job' (as a pre-teen, then teenager) that brought in some money. Back then I remember that the kids meals came with a box of cookies. And that Big Macs were only 99 cents, I believe.
@CookingAndCrafting When Big Macs first came out if I remember correctly, they were 55 cents. I am dating myself. When I was a kid, there was no eating inside a McDonalds. Most were a "T" configuration, with a sidewalk down the center outside that you parked across from and walked up to the ordering window, and brought your food back. My favorite was a double burger, which was actually called a double, and an orange drink. I think back then all they had was a burger/cheese, double, filet.
I use to order this before at Mickey D's. Saimin is the bomb! When I was a kid I sort of laugh at this (I don't know why). I think it reflected back during my childhood when my mother said, " Look at that guy there, he's eating a hamburger and slurping that Saimin at the same time" And to me at that time as a kid I didn't think Saimin and hamburgers match as a meal." In fact I still don't think they go well together. LOL! Anyhow are you in the island of Oahu?
@RussX5Z ha! Yes I am on Oahu. When you go to Shiro's Saimin Haven, you can get all kinds of stuff with your saimin. Maybe not hamburger, but my fave used to be teri beef :))
new mexico has green chili burgers. and you can add the green chili to any sandwhich as well. as for a breakfast item im not 100% sure its just new mexico but we have breakfast burritos too. most locations have done away with breakfast platters
@lazybeachpanda haha Someone said that about the green chili! I think their quote was "if they can stuff it in a chili, they will." We have just those regular little sausage burritors here
@MsTasyaIsm Can I ask you -- is the blend 50/50? Or do they use more orange juice and only a little bit of sprite? I want to try it, so I want to see if I can get the measurements right
In Georgia and Florida they serve biscuits southern styled chicken biscuits Big breakfast made up of eggs, sausages , pan cakes MC griddles, oat meal and more
@eliteswordsman1 NICE!! I forgot to go through a drive through or look at the board at McDonald's when I was in TN last month. I just ran in for my java!
I live in Texas and we have all the different muffins, pancakes eggs & sausage or backon all that really good fating stuff. We do have a yogurt which is really good
Gads! I think it's been a good three years since I've seen a McDonald's menu. I'm surrounded by them, but I still manage to avoid them. I know they've never had Saimin, and they do have biscuits 'n' gravy, and sausage biscuits, or did last time I looked.
I'm from hawaii and I love to eat saimin on a cold night. I do recall when I visited the great state of TEXAS (houston) about 20 years ago their regional menu favorite was tacos... I wanted saimin when I went there but they didn't have it ...I just wanted to share that ... and i enjoy your videos keep up the good job!...aloha*
I always am interested in what you post. Of course anything with food is good lol. I don't think we have anything regional here. Sweet tea maybe? I know we don't have biscuts and gravy that would be awesome. I do love their new oatmeal with all the fruit in it. but I think they have those pretty much everywhere.
Up here in Washington state, many people like tartar sauce with their french fries!!!

@MissMochibon You mean the haupia pie?
I went and showed them the breakfast platters in a different video :)
Jack in the Box and Burger King both have the same as well (though no saimin)

@CookingAndCrafting Yah, I live in Oahu :) I said coconut since I figure people outside of the islands don't know what Haupia is.
