  • @tmaxxracer12 a 302 that is .40 over wouldn't change anything about this

  • @Xarmy187 just making sure...

  • i love all your vids man i subscribed

  • Thanks for sharing Mate .......im ready to adjust my roller rockers on my 351c

  • awesome vid man i got a 5.0 motor im in the midst of rebuilding haha so far its completely stripped and i got another crank...moneys whats holding.me back haha. what brand roller rockers are those?

  • @brace06 there comp cam roller rockers. don't really like them. I want comp cam ultra gold rockers

  • What cam u have in there?

  • @blackstang100 trickflow stage 2

  • Great vid man I subbed. Looking forward to more vids like this and installing that supercharger!

  • @Rockman110886 Thank you! I appreciate the support!!!

  • I love your vids and it looks like your doing the same swap as me soon on your 5.0... M112!! But this video has explained to me very clearly why your rockers are "chattering" Preload them 1/2 turn instead of 1/8 and you'll be golden. You want the lifters preloaded in the middle of their travel in order to be properly preloaded after warmed up and oil pressure is present. This usually takes 10 mins on the stand during assembly and no need to re-adjust after several thousand miles.

  • Good video man. You should do a vid on how to check pushrod length. Doing my first build and the vids are a lot easier to learn than just reading. Cool seeing you on the board the other day too.

  • @IntegGSR99 I can do a video for pushrod length. Just going to be a few days. Computer is on the fritz :(

  • @Xarmy187 No biggie man. Again, good work on the vids. Keep em coming. Thanks in advance 8)

  • Thanks for your video... I have the same intake and it makes it really easy to adjust roller rockers... what does your mustang run?

  • Great vid.ppl should know chev, ford any hydraulic lifter needs to be primed 1st. they need to be comp. full of oil. pull dist. and spin oil pump untill all valves have oil flowing over them, then adj. like you did. Awesome tune btw

  • @superslo5oh thanks. The hole priming the lifters thing is another part that is up to debate. Most modern engine builders say pumping the lifters with oil is old school stuff, and modern lifters have enough pressure with the internal spring to pump themselves up.

so while it may not be necessary, its also not a big issue ether way.

  • @Xarmy187 I guess if it's necessary is also up 4 debate.I have reason to believe it is necessary and can be an issue.,haha.On that note, by no means i'm saying your wrong.I've seen and luv watch'n your vids. I know you know alot about stangs. If your were curious I'd tell u why I think it's necessary, I don't want to give my OPINION were it's not wanted nor want to sound like know it all.Like I said my opinion again I'm not say'n your wrong,I'm a guy who also luvs stangs. and talking 'bout them.

  • @superslo5oh It's all up for discussion my man, this is how we better this hobby by spreading helpful information.

  • Sweet, Nice vid..

  • nice video by the way. im sorry for rambling on

  • ford letter cams are not garbage, they make good power. i got a flat tappet 498/498 lift cam which is the same as a e303. i got tf 170 heads and a 670 carb and my car runs 12.20s @110 with 1.75-80 60fts and i got 3.73 gears also.the power my car makes will blow the tires off. and im talking 275/50/15 drag radials.when the letter cams came out back in the 90s they were awsome.people talk a bunch of smack about them but they get the job done with the mild builds that most people do.

  • @bnuts677 they where great in the 90's. this is 2011. You can get a much better cam for the same cost now-a-days. Thats all.

  • Thanks man, learn somethin every day.

  • @GarageCrazy no problem, just trying to help people out :)

  • those look like stud mount rockers

  • @rangerfx42002 yea, they are, I'm a retard and said pedestal. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • what heads / cam you have is it a ford letter cam?

  • @xNibz12345 I would have to smack myself if I installed a ford letter cam. There garbage.

The car has trickflow twisted wedge 170cc heads that are ported, and a trickflow stage 2 cam
