The subscriber base for Gaming tv is 200 million....that makes NFL, MLB, NHL...all look like ma and pa shops. Some of these gamers make over 300k a year to play games. The only reason they are playing these lame games is because they are popular in america. If they had games like starcraft...no one would watch. I hope this gets bigger.
We all want real competitive games on the scene (Quake, UT, StarCraft, Virtua Fighter etc) but these WSVG games are widely popular and this is a way of getting e-sports mainstream. However - first of all, the games should be fun to watch and easy to understand for a new audience and that is why games like WoW doesn't work very well.
