I know this is late to reply but...more than 3 years hehe...this game is really fun, I was able to marry Karen and have a baby grow up and the Game let me go further on, so I'm on my 5th year in the game? o.O now im playing the Girl version.

erm making that chicken thing isnt it kinda pointless cos stones and those wood things dont stop the wild dog attacking but if u take lumber and do the same they dont get attacked cos it cant go through

actually the 1st day u can have 7 turnips planted in the field.. if u know how... and if you are lucky, 8 turnips is possible tooo its rather easy...

Well it have some pros, it's great choise for starting game. It means that you don't have to pay for chicken food = have free eggs. I would rather have free eggs than pay for food and then have it :P

Well nearly all are this same. You can even marry Goddness (and have kid with her!) but she won't be in home. If I remember right Goddness is the only wife that isn't staying in home with you (well, girls keep doing things like they've done before - like Mary and libary).

Haha, I used to think and wonder about how to eat in PSP, when holding a dish or food, press the square button... then you'll see he eats it oneshot along with the plates...

Theres another blue grass right beside the logger's cabin, might as well grab it for extra profit.

I never eat the blue grass, waste of money in almost any given case.

Also if you can shave time off your day if you deposit your forest herbs in the hen house.

Well.. nothing rly. There's two way to whistle, you've probably used first - for your dog. Use second one (I think it was L2? just try).
