Hay you guys should use some airsoft guns (or A.E.G's as they are known) . their far more realistic with looks and reloading and you could proubly take an m4 and convert it into a Lasgun using a bit a of imagination...just an idea
We larped most of the time, the end were a 10 minute long paintball battle. THe thing was that the paintball guns were an experiment to see if it would work. And guess what alot more players showed respect for their guns than if we would have used propguns only.
If you watch closely you can see that the man behind the sandbags at the beginning of the film is wearing an cadian armour. It only has an other colour than the standard one.
A nice scene, but I didn´t see a lot of warhammer 40k-larp, just a guy with a paintball-gun in a grey coat. Probably the larp was good and had the atmosphere of warhammer 40k, but that was not to be seen in the video.
0:32 someone shot a friggin shotgun haha!

@AirsoftCommissar
The M16A1 is much better since its long enough to be a lasgun and all it needs is convert the body and change the cowling

The grey coat seems to be from the Death Korps of Krieg.

I must say that adding paintballs to LARP makes it a lot less lame.

Rember Scandinavian LARP traditions are very different from English/American tradition.
