there you can have its location...after doing endprocess..you to goto this location and delete the file(if you only have 4 option) hehhe

I've only got methods.

1. Use CCleaner

2. Use System Restore (Start, Control Panel, System Maintenance, Back up your computer) and choose the date before you got the virus.

3. Look for a link in the description.

For those of you who are having problems finding the program in the processes

1. Try clicking "Show Processes from all users"

2. I don't know what it's named but try finding something familiar to "Defender, Pc , Wn , Win"

Hello! I'm posting this from my friend's account... eep! but anyway..

Brainybeena - PCdefencer.exe didn't show up in my Processes either!

But, I saw something instead called "winav.exe"

I googled that & it's DEFINATELY to do with the virus

Ive ended that Process and Im free from the popups!

I did it about 5 minutes ago and the WINPC virus Icon vanished off my taskbar.

how did you catch it?

if you went to a website than do the same thing again and don't go to that website again, or don't download that file again.

if that didn't work, I suggest you to use scanners. If you have no idea which ones, just send me a message.

No it wasn't .. But I did use after that Malware Bytes (Virus scanner) and it delete it..

First I did try what you say. that works but after I reboot my pc it comes back so I did it again .. I restard my pc and it was there again :S.. After that 2 times I use Malware bytes .. and the virus was deleted

It wasn't there because I had already shut it off without realizing it. I had used Cntrl+Alt+Delete, when one of the Pop-Ups were open and managed to shut it down with Task Manager, then I deleted it with an Anti-Malware tool.

When I click RIGHT mouse button. I dont have this items. I have some stupid 4 items - END PROCES, END PROCES TREE, SET PRIORITY, SAT AFFINITY - and that all. But you have vey much of them. BTW my 3 friends are same items like me. Maybe are some different way how to now whre are this LOCATION ?
