Just so people know Sam Cooke was murdered by a motel manager after a prostitute tried to rob him and say it was rape. And people who saw his body claim he was beaten severely before he died, which calls into question if those events were even true

I would have "killed" (of course not literally) if I could have ever met Sam Cook. I believe God gave this man the voice of an angel, and the part that touches my heart, is that he still recognized the sad, sad, part of our world, like "the chain gang", "our negro's plight for freedom", in A Change is Gonna come, or however you want to interpret that song, but this man seemed to have compasion.
