  • brutal arms dude :D

    respect

  • Nice what kind of bars are those?

  • Hey man, Does the v-sit helps to practice this pike press? How can I practice my pike press, like you did?

  • AWSOME!

  • very impressive. bruce lee could hold this position for about a half hour

  • Oh yeah, nice job... But, you should point your feet, it would be better... :)))

  • 1 person is a doughy fuck who plays world of warcraft all day and is a virgin bitch.

  • man.. u are ripped!! good work

  • not bad I'm a gymnast and can do v-sit to hand stand with my hand flat on the ground

  • Fuck Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris can hold this position for infinity and a minute.

  • Holly crap, incredible power.

  • It looks great-have you kept training this since you posted, and if so do you have any training tips? That trick is on my top list of things I want!!

  • @Jermesin Well havnt really been training this move specifically for ages, im gonna post a vid of an recent attempt soon though 3 years later haha. Its a nice move, for v/russian whateva sit just work flexibility and try to lift up from L sit, the more flex you have the less power you need to get your bum higher. I think dips help with tricep strength and for abs do leg lifts and sit in a pike stretch position and try and lift your legs from there for 20 little reps.

  • just out of curiousity, how often do you train? Great job!

  • Very AWESOME :-)

Straight leg get up, me likey :-)

  • that's not a v-sit. your legs aren't supposed to be perfectly vertical. it's supposed to make a v-shape with your torso....hence "v-sit"

  • @theazn07 this way it's even harder.

  • @asskickerfoo no it isn't...lol wtf it just takes more flexibility. it's harder to do a normal v-sit becuase it takes more balance to have your legs further out then right up vertical against your body. also if it's further away from your body, it engages the abdominal muscles more

  • @theazn07 o rly? can you even do it? If so try to see which position you can hold longer.

  • @asskickerfoo i can do it and i find it easier to do it with my legs straight up. it's not even hard to understand why it's harder to have a greater angle between your torso and legs. its all about the stability in the abs

  • @theazn07 do you use any bars for it?

  • trying to get a manna? Keep it up your getting very close.

  • Dammit stop it you've won! Seriously though great job man!

  • Pikes r easier the more flexible u r

  • I THANK THE IS d NOT V

  • How to start practise

  • Hey man! Great stuff! I'm really struggling to get the pike press... any tips on how to get it? Thanks

  • Greatness. Are those boxes he's using? How do you develop this kindof strength; what are the progressions?

  • are these your drawers?

    brilliant !

  • Do you do pike compressions? It could help with active flexibility for your pike presses.

  • wowowow! your v sits are amazing! so high! asdfghjkl;

and your pike press!! omg you are an inspiriation! :P

  • V sit is on press up bar things. The press to handstand is on two of my drawers upside down

  • What do you call that thing you use?

  • I have a question. Would you say flexibility plays a pretty big role in the V sit or is it mainly just getting your abs to squeeze that hard?

  • Do you need to able to hold a planche to be able to press from a pike position? or is flexibility the only requirement? hmm

  • God - how long did it take ya to be able to do that?? I can do l sit, training for V

  • u got some serious skills man keep it up

  • Bruce Lee did it for hours not secs

  • jesus christ V sit looks hard. i can do half lever for ages but if i try to lift higher (although I have the flexibility, i don't have the strength) i just fall backwards. soz for being weak but that's just how it is.

    great vid btw 5 stars

  • I cand o a V-sit to, but still about 40% of what you make. The pike press I dont practice.

Are you a gimnast or just practicing this stuff on your own?

  • youre ripped dude..cool

  • How long can you do it for? We all know Bruce Lee is awesome.

  • I havent tried yet. i'll get back to you.

  • Great job - but please clean up your room, that's disgusting!

  • man you are ripped.

  • wow just amazing man, props

  • Wow one of the few times I see someone looking that buff but still having flexibility and stuff...wish I was like that lolz would make b-boying WAY easier as far as freezes and power

  • fucking sweet mate! fair play, i can V sit for like 5 seconds haha then im like dead on the floor.

  • nice!

  • great job ;)

  • bruce lee could v sit for up to 30 mins

  • don't believe everything you read

  • fkn tank!

  • holy shit

  • nice!!

  • that pike press looked pretty good to me, better than what i could do anyway

  • really impressive mate well done, keep training :)

  • Yeh v-sits are very tough, tis why you see so few youtube videos of them, nice job :) (im not being sarcastic)

  • What's the name of the song plz?!!!!

  • Wow! That was pretty amazing Dougstyla91. Your strength and control is brilliant! And SELF TAUGHT....even more impressive! Keep it up, my friend!

  • you're very strong man

how many muscle ups can you do?

  • r u using ur strength to perform an stable handstand?

  • whast the song/

  • are you a gymnast or something. you have some awesome core strength.

  • thanks man, im not a gymnast, just self taught a few handstands, but started circus arts pretty seriously now!

  • what song is that?

  • How do I train to do that.

  • yo man, the v sit is basicallly flexibility and quite alot of core strength...so just work on your pike stretch (try and touch your head on your knees) and do hanging leg raises from a pull up bar, and jus keep trying to hold an l sit till failure, do 3 sets of these moves 3 times a week. hope it helps people!

    Doug

  • THank you.

  • Gah, does anyone know what I need to work on to be able to do those?! I can do them on the floor but my legs only go a little higher than parallel with the ground.

    I'm 5'8 140lbs, got a 190lb bench press, pretty decent 6 pack....what kinda excercises should I do to achieve this "v-sit"?

  • mainly hamstring flexibility., get aan l sit solid first then progress up :P

  • that was good just make sure u point ur toes ..have a great day

  • awesome, 5 stars man

  • he's something about 1,5m tall

  • Nice hardcore, man, great muscle-body too....5 stars

  • you're shredded... good physic... how much do you weight? and strong... 5 star ratings

  • hey dude, thanks for the comment! same to you btw, i envy ur handstand push ups lol atm im 9st 5 wich is like 59 kg i think, wats ur weight at the moment

  • god... DAMN, man! :O You've got an INCREDIBLE musculature! Holy... dang, kudos to you to the skill AND to your physical appearance! Wow!
