There were a lot of great movies in the 90's. Thelma and Louise was OK but certainly not top 5. I think even top 30 would be a stretch.

The trailer doesn't do the movie justice at all. It makes it seem like a upbeat road comedy when its so much more brutal. But I guess the rape scene in the trailers wouldn't have sat right with audiences.

My argument is that the theme of the trailer is very far from that of the film. This is not a fun road movie, as implied by the trailer.

In reality, the film, in my view, has a certain political agenda, which is presented in a biased manner. And I don't have a problem with that either. Only the trailer tells a different story.

But i somewhat agree about the trailer. for me the movie was just a story about white trash.
