Watching that dvd was the first time I have heard of Ron Shock. I found his semi monotone voice to be a bit annoying, but he does have good material. Think Imma go see what other material he has.

Shock seems to be on a level higher than the "Redneck" moniker, much like Ron White seems more intellectual than the other members of the Blue Collar Comedy group. I guess it's because Shock worked with Bill Hicks early on in his career, he seems to have that intellectual quality about him.
