nope, i usually follow the STARS and approach with charts and I extend the landing when the FMC says I should. It'll usually give me a spped of which the gear should be extended.

well GE is roughly the same thrust as RR. i usually go to 100% N1 then I pull back the throttle a bit to around 95% so that I dont go straight to 250knots. it puts stress on the flaps when retracting them at high speed.
well i had to reach Vr before i rotated. and because it was fully loaded. full tanks of fuel and full passengers and cargo. it took long to reach Vr speed.
@9999tuttut Plane was far too heavy lol. 36L is the longest runway which they use frequently at Amsterdam Schipol.
