i hope the original version of twin dragons will get released on blu ray. for over a decade i only watched the dimension version although i recently watched the original one in cantonese (no subtitles) and i had no idea what they were saying or referring to in the deleted scenes, such as when rocky got down on his knees for john and was kissing his hands - i had no clue what was going on. in the US version every scene was cut short and there were a number of deleted scenes. original is better

I know what you mean. They didn't even bother to mention that Maggie's character loved music...they just totally ripped that part out neglecting that it was detrimental to the chemistry between Barbara and John Ma.

Dimension have done a lot of injustice to not only Chinese movies but Chinese culture with the way they delete footage, change the music, change the film title*, change the dialogue and even the credit sequences.

*Twin Dragons was lucky in this case because they could have easily changed the title to Double Impact 2 (to capitalize on the Jean Claude Van Damme movie) or even Parent Trap 2 (since Dimension is a subsidiary of a company {Miramax} affiliated with Disney or Buena Vista rather).
