This song takes me back to my youth (70's) when the Isley Brothers came to town and a group of my white friends & I went to the concert. We were the only white people in the venue and became very nervous before the show started. Turns out everyone there laughed at our terror (in a good way) and treated us almost like celebrities. Music has done more for race relations than all government programs put together. How these gifted men transitioned from standard Motown to 70's funk is amazing.
