  • Laalou would have won that had he not been boxed in from the time the American and Borza knocked him at 350m.

  • Rudisha is coming to destroy you next year so enjoy it while it lasts.

  • no hes like 10 minutes off but you could tell in that race he wasnt running as fast as he could have. he could definately compete with men and win. i hope theyre not gonna let him compete against women because he is clearly a man

  • hmmm i wonder why nick symmonds didnt run this race the same as he usually does

  • @sjd2112 he probably hd 2 take a shit that always happens 2 me

  • the south african men really cleaned up in the 800s, winning both the mens and womens, has it ever been done before?

  • how many of you actually run?lol

  • Mulaudzi dominated the rest of the field from beginning to end. The rest of them merely pretenders.

  • great race by symmonds. he is mostly a sit and kick guy but in this race he took control. he did what he had to but hes just not good enough yet.

  • @axeblue he would get over 1:55 probably

  • you are crazy. usain can run 45 sec a 400m he will be doing 1:50 the 800m race

  • you must be so stupid with your reasoning. you should ask yourself why some people do short and some long distance and dont think if one is good in 100m he'll be better in 400m ,you are so dumb it hurts

  • Maybe not better, but there are such things as extensions. You never know.

  • whatever he gets. it'll still be a race i want to see

  • usain is obviously not an 800m running...im sure he can run it fast but not to a world standard

  • thats what people said about the 100m, look what happened there. besides i just want to see him run, i don't care if he gets 2:00

  • Usain would get rocked by all these guys

  • & all of them would get rocked by Usain in the 100,200,400 , Usain is not a 800m runner so whats your point ?? , he don't even like to run the 400m

  • I don't think he would even win a 400, it might be too long for him, let alone a 800

  • amazing how borza always gets boxed in during the last 300 meters....

  • i usually see nick a little more conservative on the first lap, but this race he seemed to be putting more effort in the first 600m. his kick is his strongest strength that will give him winning times so the faster he goes out, the more he'll take away from his furious kick.

  • that was a nice race...nick could hav waited for the last 200m to take the front he is a really good finished and i think he went out too hard...anyone else of the opinion...but a great effort from him no doubt

  • yea i agree, he ran against his usual tactics and that probably costed him

  • @pedro800m I agree with you, Nick should have waited a little bit longer to make his move. It was good experience for him. They better watch out for him in the future cause hes gonna do some butt kickin'!! USA!!

  • @stonekeeper86 he's too old now.

  • @xxxDAPROBLEMxxx and hes aged 26 lol. you know nothing about track and field i take it? You can still run well in the 800m up to 30. EASILY. go do some research and tell me when did johnson break the world record for the 200M??? come back when you learn somthing alright..

  • @racketer symmonds isn't going to magically turn into a world beater right now. And johnson starting doping heavily at that age. Maybe now you've learned something jerk

  • @xxxDAPROBLEMxxx lmao. ok go show me some evidence about this "doping".... DIDNT THINK YOU COULD SO your wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @racketer Show me some evidence oj killed his wife... DIDN't THINK YOU COULD SO HE DIDN't!

  • @xxxDAPROBLEMxxx ok theres plently evidence to suggest oj killed his life. loads of it. What evidence have you got to support your claims

  • @racketer obviously I don't know for a fact. But were getting off topic. You think symmonds is going to improve? I'm a MAJOR USA distance fan, and every time symmonds races I'm going to be cheering him on, but I can't see him improving anymore... I was originally responding to the guy who said watch out he's going to kick butt in the future. He's not. Not about kick rudishas butt anyway....

  • @xxxDAPROBLEMxxx typical american mouthing of when he doesn't have a clue what he is talking about.... As i said go look up michael johnsons age when he broke the world record and come back to me with some evidence online that says he was on drugs ok? He is still young hes got another 2-3 years in his prime. You obviously know nothing about running and your a complete idiot making stupid statments! Ahh so typical of stupid americans!

  • @racketer Americans are stupid? Haha it must make you feel good to say that, even while knowing that when your country is in trouble you will call us for help. Most powerful economy in the world by far (go look that up). I watched MJ blaze the track at baylor for 4 years, you've probably never even heard of baylor. I don't need you to try and teach me about athletes that achieved success at an older age, I can name plenty. I'll post here after 2013 WC's, by then you'll see I was right.

  • @xxxDAPROBLEMxxx My country? Ok tell me where i live.. Thats right you can't because you don't. Fucking hell your getting more stupid by the minute!!! Look dumbass you still havn't even given me any evidence or anything to say MJ was on drugs so i am right that an athlete can still improve up to the age of 30!! So go fuck yourself you stupid american you havn't a clue and i have won this argument! Another example is hicham he won the 1500 and 5k in olympics at what age?? 29!!! So where do i live

  • @xxxDAPROBLEMxxx America is not the strongest economy in the world, do not be silly now. Also, it has become apparent from recent figures that in fact the US is collapsing (rapidly). Now GB are hardly prospering, but count the days that US are a super power, cos by the end of the decade you could be up there with... New Zealand in terms of a superpower.

In addition, don't slate Great Britain - we were the world's greatest super power at one point - ask yourself, what the hell have US achieved?

  • @xxxDAPROBLEMxxx Hey man, I know in reality Symmonds may never beat these guys, but you can't knock a guy for rooting for his countryman!! Stop taking this stuff so personal!!!

  • @stonekeeper86 dout it

  • all within 1 second...welcome to athletics 800m style (unforgiving event!)

  • Yego needs to be kicking out at 120m to 130m off the finish. When he waits until the last 100m, it hasn't worked out well for him. He has an excellent kick. And I really do think he should be running the 1500m. jmo

  • brilliant finish!

  • very strange 800 mt. EIGHT athletes in one second of diference. Only ONE second, de diferrence between the glory and the fail

  • nice race your the best south africa

  • What a race champion

  • South Africa deserves all the success it gets, just like any other nation that works hard towards a goal. Go South Africa!!!

  • SA Rocks!!!

  • The winning time was very slow not what I expected was looking for a sub 1:44.

  • Championship racing.. it was a sit and kick race, thats why it was somewhat of a slow time

  • 1:08-1:10 lol!!!

  • South Africa, No!

  • South Africa, YES!!!
