I would love to see Kelsey Grammar play from 5:00 on - not because he would necessarily be great at it (and Plummer is GREAT at it here) but because it would be So. True. It couldn't fail to be moving.

Makes me feel how so much of what I see on TV and in movies is trivial and besides the point. Plummer utterly and completely connects with the character and with O'Neill's words.

There's needs to be a revival of Long Day's Journey Into Night with Christopher Plummer as James Tyrone. This small clip is absolutely brilliant. Christopher Plummer is quite amazing.

YES! I can watch that entire bit starting at 5:00 through the end over and over. The way the entire dvd flows though is incredible but Christopher Plummer gives me goosebumps in that part. Soooo good.
