A. He can veto all of the new bills which would otherwise further expand the role of government.

B. He can lead public opinion to FORCE congress to make real changes in foreign policy, economic policy, and a number of policies at home which are monstrously ineffective and costly.

C. As the Commander in Chief of the armed forces, he can bring the troops home and we can count on him to not bring us into any more illegal and unsanctioned wars as our last three presidents have done.

@projectbeard You're a buffoon. Congress will over ride his veto. Pulling troops out of a conflict is not so simple. Maybe you need to understand the concept of a quagmire a little better. The social safety net is very popular and Ron Paul is not going to change a senior's mind about medicare. Suggesting that he could end social security and medicare in 4 or 8 years is simply childish. He also can not "end the fed" as President. He can appoint a gold bug as chairman and crash the economy.
