Thanks a lot Alexkvx10. I think I am already there with that tuning. I thought it was that from your vid and others but something that got me was that I was watching vids with Misha and he talks about when playing and getting the djent sound, that he likes to play the (Bb,Db,Ab,Db) together to achieve the sound. When I try this it doesn't sound right. Maybe another tuning he's talking about!

Btw, your cover is the best. I have learnt about the first 6 minutes (getting very muddy between 5 and 6)

@chrispsl Hmm take standard 7 string tuning (BEADGBE low to high) drop all the strings by half a step so you get (Bb,Eb,Ab,Db,Gb,Bb,Eb) Then drop the 6th string, the Eb by a whole step to Db, as you would tune to drop D in standard 6 string tuning. Hope that helps!

@whitewalls1222 Its a hairband, does nothing when its behind the nut but you can bring it over the frets to mute unwanted strings, acts like a noise gate in a way, helps for two handed tapping etc. I don't really use it so much these days. Check out players like Guthrie Govan, Greg Howe, Andy James, they use em sometimes
