On the zagg wabsite there is a video that shows the ipod being kead and did other stuff to scratched it. They took it off and the screen was scratched but the ipod was perfectly unscratched.

you cant use it with cases. loads of people have tryed. the cabsule rebel just doesn't go over. the incase slider wont slide on. cases are desinged to fit the phone exactly. to the last hair.

i installed this on my ipod touch. the easiest thing to do right after you put in the zagg, is to keep a silicone case on the phone or ipod. it tightens up the corners and sticks to the phone or ipod.leave it on for about 12 hours. that's what i did. hope that helps.

It is NOT to grippy to use the functionality of the screen, its easy to swipe your fingers around. It is extreamly thin, you should be able to fit it into the tiniest of cases and skins for your ipod no problem :)

I got the screen cover and a slider case and I had the guy at best buy put it on for me but now there are a ton of bubbles under my inv shield so hopefully I can get em to redo it. But do you think the spongeiness of the screen causes more friction than the 3gs screen itself?

whats funny is biggest complaint about this product is putting it on... we have a invisible sheild store here in knoxville inside the mall... and they put it on for me... and if i have any problems they will replace it free of charge so long as i have my reciept... looks and feels great, as far as the orange peel comment, it adds grip and when the phone is lit up you can't see it. great product. i'd do a store locator for those that don't like putting stuff like this on...

The website says non scratch so no everything it says is not true, do not buy!!! I had mine on fully fixed for 3 days and the back tabs came free making it useless, also my screen protector scratched. Zagg wont send new one unless I return my original in packaging, who keeps packaging after 3 days???? Im thinking of trying the wrapsol as it has better screen protector without the orange peel effect.

Okay, I got my Invisible Shield and it only protects the top and bottom chrome but no the side chrome so its fucking stupid. For people who want FULL protection, buy the bodyguardz shield which covers everything including the chrome.

Nice review, appreciate it man. I Have some questions though. I got the Iphone 3G, and ordered the Invisible Shield from Zagg, and is going to install as soon as i get it.

1. Did you spray on the phone, aswell as the shield?

2. Did you put front or back on first?

3. How did you manage the back with corners? Did you wail untill the plan base was dry before during the corners, or did u try to assemble the whole back at the same time?

I tried to avoid spraying the device (they dont actually recommend it) however if it isnt working for you i would do this as a last bet.

I but the front on first,

I found the corners hard, however on my second go i let the corners try for about 5-10 min and then stuck them down. Zagg have some useful videos about applying the shield.

the zagg IS doesnt cover the whole 3g. it leaves the chrome on the left side uncovered. i had a perfect instal, and still chrome isnt covered, which is the most important part (scratchwise) . i would go with the bodyguardz. im gonna try it after i remove my invisible shield.
