Sure you are not mistaking the 13mm MG hits for the 30mm cannon hits? Last time I flew it the 30mm melon chucka still made fighters fall out of the sky with 1-3 rounds.
@gergangsta The second kill was actually after a 2 minute 1v1 dogfight with that Spitfire IXc. We were both low and slow when he stalled out and had to change directions. I just got a lucky shot in.
I had forgotten I had put this up. The plane I am flying is the 109G6u4 with the 30mm cannon in a WWII MMO called WWIIOL.
The RAF planes are generally better turners than the 109 series and almost all of those kills are from a position of superior E. I do virtually no turn fighting in that video (mainly because it is not the strength of the 109G6). It is mostly BnZ or energy fighting being shown here although all I really showing are the kills. I would recommend WWIIOL as a WWII sim.
Aside from that, I wonder why none of these british fighters aren't out turning the 109G2. The G2 is a notorious turner but I really wonder what data the developers used.
Being afraid of the inferior turning of the 109 I would try to attain an altitude advantage and maintain it throughout a sortie. I guess I'd know whether this is a good or bad tactic if I played WWIIOL, instead of IL2.

this was made way before i started playing, too bad. It takes about 17 30mm hits to bring a spit down now >.>
